I want me a wheel gun too, just not for carrying.
I have a taurus pt709 slim, skinnier than snub nose, more bullets because more is better and i always carry cocked and locked. I practice flipping the safty down when i draw.
Thats just what i thought about when i chose my cc gun.
Round count is a big deal to me because im worried in a high stress enviroment i will miss. I see those videos of people getting attacked and there doing full 19 round mag dumps and no ones falling over.

Softest .38 will kick noticeably harder from a 3" barrel or less than 9mm out of a Glock 19 or a similar sized auto. If you're going +p or .357 make sure you get one with a 4 finger grip. Short grips are cool but you definitely sacrifice usability.

I inherited a j-frame, I keep in my truck, otherwise I would never use it. Sorry, but snubbies have been obsolete ever since pocket 9mms became a thing. At best they are situational, or a concession to style/tradition.

Why would you? Who knows, but there are benefits to either that appeal to different people.
Like contact shots and shots through clothing for the snub, or faster reloads for the auto. They both conceal pretty much equally well.
Oh and they CAN fire similar weight projectiles. Doesnt mean that's all their is. You can shove a 158-200gr wad cutter in a .38special or .357 snub if you want or sub 95gr in a 9mm.just depends what you like.

Just sold mine a few days ago. It was so light and I would pocket carry it too. Laser was pretty bad ass as well.
Personally I loved it but I've been wanting an even smaller pocket auto to conceal carry considering I wear suits all day at work.
