How does /k/ prepare for operating inna dessert?
I'm going to be operating inna dessert alone for the first time this weekend. I know it can be fairly dangerous and I was looking for some advice.
What kind of firepower should i bring?
How much food and water should a bring?
What kind of gear will i need?
Are there any safety precautions i should know?
Thanks for your advice /k/. Pic related is the Dessert.

2 gallons of water per day if your going to be exerting yourself and sweating more, only one gallon a day if your going by car with extra for emergencies. Rattlesnake bite kit in a first aid kit is kind of important, generally the biggest thing you'll find in the desert is mountain lion so really just a standard ar/ak, bring some heavy clothing for nighttime cold,

Water. Flour. Sugar.

Wow, I never knew desserts could be so dangerous. I was under the impression that my biggest concerns would be brainfreeze and diabetes. Not Dehydration and and wind animals.

You'd be surprised the number of idiots that go out without enough water and promptly die

Thanks for the advice.
I'm going to tear through a large Snickers Ice Cream Cake Dessert this weekend so i really do need to be prepared.
Pic related is my weapon of choice when oper8ing inna dessert, FK mod II. Larger than a typical weapon of the same size, but it's worth it when your treating through the dessert way faster than your comerades.
You should be covered for food, but I'd strongly recommend bringing milk. 1-2 points should be enough.
Hope this helps.

That's all well and good for most regular desserts, but it's inadvisable against Christmas cakes. To properly deal with those, you need to give them a good spooning.

Bring as much water as you can carry. Your knees should almost be ready to implode from the weight of the water.
