Everyone that wants to get in the Army has to take it now, along with everyone that has already enlisted but ships in October or later. It's some new shit. It'll eventually be implemented in all the other branches.

It's like an ASVAB, but for physical performance.

If you come back to this thread can you explain what the "managed" part means, like did they give you a hard time or something? Is it tough to get cause everyone here acts/talks like they hand those and 18x contracts out like candy to sucker in free dropouts for other MOSs.

Using it as we speak. How the school does it is on a case by case basis. However, its easy as fuck to use. All i had to do was show the vets offics my class schedule and fill out some simple papers and bam, i was good. That simple.

Yes, some foreign schools will accept it but again everything is a case by case basis.

Sorry I've been busy lol but if you're still here 11x Op40's are relatively hard to get, at the time of starting my application process 2 months ago 0 slots for 11x Op40 were open, there were other jobs that had Op40 attached but it was bullshit like Paralegal, Water Purifier and Parachute Rigger which only had like 1-3 slots each but then my recruiter showed me 18x and that fucker literally had 80+ slots lmao, So people picking up SF contracts isnt that hard to believe. I personally think 18x contracts are meant to recycle washouts into the needs of the army lol.

Is this what you'd normally experience with these guys?
>>
>>31322374

You undesignated or got an A-School already? If your recruiter sent you undes with a 93 fucking ASVAB then he screwed you HARD. If you do have an A-School, then you're locked in. I supposes you could go IA if you REALLY want to go to the sandbox, but you'll still be doing in-rate stuff.
>>
>>31321676

Mostly by being squared away and asking. I spent most of my junior enlisted years in schools. I actually got less schools as a NCO, since I was the one minding the office while my guys were at class.

>>31321695
It matters, because you gave the impression that officers get to spend time learning all sorts of skills when that isn't really true. Officers manage and grow the skills of their workforce, if they're taking school slots for themselves there's probably something fucky.

>>
>>31323303
The reserves and guard are two different entities, while they may look the same on the outside with the one weekend a month bullshit. The reserves are federally controlled, the guard is state controlled and can be activated by the guvna
>>
>>31323334
Hmmm... I have no idea which one would be a better choice. I mean, I'm not scared of the training, or being deployed or anything like that, I just don't want to be away from home for years at a time.
>>
>>31323167
I would do your research on the 18x before you go, you're going to have to be in insane shape for the SFAS. In regards to the recruitment process and shit my recruiter kept bullshitting with me and I told him I'm willing to wait for as long as it takes for an Op40(more time to train lol) and they finally got me one a couple of days ago, the thing is they give you a test now that replaces the ASVAB called the PICAT and from what my recruiter said you wont need to take the ASVAB once you get to meps anymore but theres a time limit on how long your score is good for and since I've been waiting for that Op40 it expired and now I have to take the ASVAB at meps anyways haha

Above you said application, did you have to fill one out for rangers or something?
Thx again

>>31323510

>>
>>31323334
The guard can be activated by the pres too, and it also receives funding from both state and federal
>>
>>31323594
I'm the anon going to meps tomorrow, meps is the final say over the recruiter and everyone else but yeah the recruitment process is an application basically, you take a practice test then the PICAT then they ask you a series of questions, do paperwork etc, tell your recruiter what job you want and he'll show you whats available then when you guys agree on something he sends you to meps, meps is basically where you finalize everything and sign and swear.
>>
>>31323594

Opt40 is a ranger contract. It sends you to basic, AIT and airborne training, then finally RASP. Once you get past RASP you're a Ranger, but wash oits generally go to the 82nd airborne

Better is relative. The pay is a lot shittier but training is actually one of the upsides.

Protip: Most schools run by the services tend to be shit. If you want good schools, get the ones the contractors and civvies from agencies teach.

>>
>>31326241
Just hearsay but

The army is actually perfectly fine with people deopping out of RASP, because it shows they don't have the willpower and desire to be a ranger, and that washouts do go to generally respected units, they aren't special operations qualified

Hey if youre still here i was asking you questions before, got some more.
Did they give you shit for being a little heavy?

How about for having such a slow run?/no offense btw just curious cause im in your sitaution as well, i do powerlifting so im strong for my size but my run could definitely improve.

Also could you answer any of my stuff here>>31323594
Im just wondering the order, like i walk in, say i want an 18x, then i take the Practice asvab, then the PICAT, then he shows me available contracts, then i go to meps and pick it officially? Is that the process?
Again, i just wanna make sure cause i dont want some dirt bag recruiter trying to pull a fast on on me.

Again also, you said
>you're going to have to be in insane shape for the SFAS
That almost implies you dont have to be in as good for option 40, did you mean to make it sound that way or am i assuming to much?

Thx in advance.
>>
>>31326282
Lol define strong, what are his lifts cause he looks like a twink and his shoulders are as small as my balls.
>>
>>31326291
I am haha and no they didn't give me any shit, when I went to do the BF percentage test my recruiter made me take my shirt off and then goes "oh yeah, you're gunna pass" lol but they don't ask you how fast you run or such, I feel like they pretty much expect people to come in not being able to run a 16min 2 mile

And you pretty much nailed it as far as recruitment process goes but the thing is they're handing out 18x contracts like candy so you honestly should have no issue getting one, you're GT just has to be 110 or 115 I don't remember

and as far as the 18x vs. the op40 testing its on another spectrum, I have friends who went ranger and another who went sf and the q course vs RASP makes RASP look like a cake walk from what they said at least, don't get me wrong you still have to be in insane shape I just think there's a little more leniency with rangers.
>>
>>31326294

Bench=155

Squat=215

>>
>>31326282
Bodywise he looks pretty similar to me. I'm going opt40, but I want to gain a bit more body fat because RASP essentially burns all of it for energy.

As for running, he should get into it, it'll be alot easier for him than it was for you, and the stamina and endurance boost is incredible(you should know, you run too)

That is very interesting cause based on what people say in these threads i thought the opposite. I believe you though.

>110 or 115 I don't remember
Well last time i took the asvab i got a 95 so im sure my scores were high enough so im not worried

>they don't ask you how fast you run or such
Wait, dont you have to do a physical test to actually get an option 40 or 18x though? Like actually show them you arent just some weak bumb? Im asking cause i remember for SEAL the way it worked was you signed up under another contract and while you were in DEP you voluntered to take the SEAL PST and if you scored well on it they scrapped your old contract and gave you a seal contract.

Again thx for the answers.

>>31326349
ok, he should eat a sandwhich or 2 though
>>
>>31326332
RASP is just a qualifier, ranger deployment makes RASP look easy, and while not as challenging as SF on a mission to mission basis, you tend to roll outside more frequently
>>

I don't believe you do, to the best of my knowledge you were guaranteed the job you get regardless of what shape you're in, you're then given the APFT at the start of basic then another at the end of basic (which you have to pass) then another at AIT which I think you have to score 70 or above, idk where AIT guy is at but he could shed some insight if he's still around

That is absolutely amazing, if thats true, I am now completely 100% convinced that Opt40 and 18x are without farm contracts to get people to fail out. I dont actually find anything wrong with that though, you should know what youre getting yourself into, i just cant believe thats true. Like you just waltz in off the street having never done a single pushup in your whole life and running like a 10min/mile and yet they give you a contract. Thats fucking insane, now i know why so many people fail out. If anything now i feel like im over prepared. I figured every person with a contract would be a complete fucking jock/stud maxing out the APFTs no sweat.
>>
>>31326473
Like I said though lol to the best of my knowledge
>>
>>31326473

>>31326511
Wow well at this point im gonna assume thats true. I feel so much more comfortable now about getting a contract. You heard anything yet about bonuses coming back at the new fiscal year yet? You possibly getting one?
>>
>>31326437
He's gotta run, lift and eat. If you do proper upkeep, and if he's up to it even muscle builing. Doing all that he would maintain muscle mass and get the benifits of running. Plus, with the increase of stamina and endurance lifting sessions can last longer at a higher intensity, so he'd effectively just be gaining muscle
>>
>>31326570
If your friend has a high metabolism like you say its gonna take him a long time to get stronger. Also, you dont build muscle in the gym, you build it in the kitchen. You can lift for 3 hours a day but if you dont eat enough food you literally cant build muscle. What routine are you 2 doing?
>>
>>31326473
RASP actually has a relatively low attrition rate and there is no over prepared for it. Sure, you could walk in off the street being an unathletic fatbody and get in, but it would not only suck worse than anything you've experienced before and even if you make it through with the rest you still might not make the pick.

The same applies to fit people, but with higher odds of being able to make it through and get selected.

RASP and SFAS are just entrance exams anyway, the real trial is not geting in, but staying in. It's better to overestimate than underestimate in cases like this

Before I visited a recruiter I was something like 116lbs, then I started actually eating and exercising a little bit. I got to 140 and passed MEPS, but I seem to be stuck at 140-145lbs now with running and doing some bodyweight exercises. I have to eat even more and I hate cooking.

As balance, I keep to eggs, bacon, oatz, bread, fruit juice, in the morning. Chicken or fish, yams/tatos or rice & beans, for lunch and dinner, with some high calorie snacks in between and a whey protein shake after running. Sometimes in the weekends I say fuck it and eat junk food. No activated almonds or free-range emu eggs, though.

You can ignore this post, I'm just blogging
>>
>>31326759
Well only doing bodyweight stuff isnt going to make you heavier. Its very difficult if not impossible to put on size/weight without actually lifting weights. Your body will adapt to doing pushups and you will def be able to do more cause of muscular adaptation but your bench will barerly go up. If you want to get stronger and put on size you need to actually lift weights.
Also, if what you say about your diet is true and you are actually having that much difficulty gaining weight than you can resort to drastic measures, jsut mix in either Coconut oil or Heavy Cream and Peanut Butter with your protein shakes. This will easily add 300-500 calories to your shakes.
>>
>>31326759
You are eating too much.

I have no idea why eating a normal amount seems to be a struggle for people. Eat around 2500-3000 calories a day. Exercise frequently, ensuring you beat the standards outlined by your recruiter.

You shouldn't need snacks or protein shakes or any of that other shit. The above method has worked fine for thousands of years, it's not a secret.

Join an orienteering club. I would also look into doing various challenges and long distance, good pace walks around the UK. Yorkshire, Wales and Scotland have some excellent opportunities for this.

Shipping out to Parris Island on Monday, wish me luck! My original date wasn't until November but yesterday they called me and said they had a slot available so I just took it. Extremely short notice as I thought I had 2 months left to prepare, but now I'll be gone in 5 days, yikes. Anybody got a few tips or things I should know before heading out for bootcamp?

I'll be going on an Intel contract, hoping to go cryptolinguist (116 DLAB score) and spend some time in sunny California.
>>
>>31327873
You PT about twice a week, and if your RSS PTs, the PT at your station should be harder than the PT at Parris Island. At least that's what some friends told me yesterday and they just got back from PI.
I'm a future marine as well, I was supposed to ship next Tuesday but I gave my date up to help out another. There is a chance I'll still ship next Tuesday, we have an IST this saturday and I'm going to pass it, but I don't know about a couple of the future marines who are shipping this month. If they fail I'll probably be offered the spot. So maybe we'll see each other.
>>
I PT with my pool every day and double on Thursdays, so that's good news. Not to say it'll be easy given all the other circumstances, but I feel better about it physically.

If you want to gain weight, while exercising well and having a high metabolism, you need to eat till it hurts.

Actually 145 at 5'10" is good according to MEPS. Their minimum for 5'10" is 123 or something, which is insane. People can enlist in Auschwitz mode.

I'm aiming for 175 of lean weight at least before shipping in 4 months. The maximum is 195ish. People can exceed that if they're a beefcake and get taped

The Army is fine with dropouts, but gaming the system to get Airborne with no intention of ever going Ranger is why they would want to change it.
>>
>>31328605

Depends on your contract, breh. Lots of stuff can add time. You can incur an ADSO for certain branches, assignments, and duty stations. 3 years is the minimum if you don't give a fuck though.
>>
>>31328663
Airborne and Rangers do the same training up until RASP, which seperates the men from the manlier men, so taking a Ranger contract without the intention to go Ranger is stupid, because you don't get any extra out of it when you can just take an airborne infanty contract to get the same thing

Hey /meg/. Got a couple questions for y’all.

Quick background so you know where I’m coming from
>Grew up in family where vast majority of men are US military officers, mostly USAF
>admire them terrifically, but didn’t think I was cut out for it myself
>Got a B.S. in engineering with the intent to work in military technology to support our military from the civilian side
>worked for 2 years at a firm
>did a lot of growing up in those two years (hasguns and CHL, getting /fit/, having car/apartment, etc.)
>realize I’m not actually the child I thought I was; just a late bloomer when it came to manhood
>want to enter USAF now, looking into OTS/OCS

If I’m going to serve, I want to fight.
So though I considered stuff like REDHORSE initially, I’m really leaning towards trying for something like PJs or CROs now.
Anything I should know before I even start down this route? How competitive are officer positions for those?

First Question:
How “ironclad” are the height/weight standards for officers listed here? http://www.military.com/join-armed-forces/air-force-weight-rules.html
By my calculation, I’d have to drop to about 2% BF at my current muscle mass to meet this.
I know I’ll lose naturally muscle when I switch to running instead of my lifting routine, but this still seems extreme.
Marine E-6 buddy who I work with and work out with insists that they’ll waive that in a heartbeat as long as I can breeze through the PFA. Wanted a second opinion.

(cont.)

Texas Sunset.jpg

>>31312940
>>31329544
Second Question:
What do enlisted guys think of officers who pursue OTS/OCS? As opposed to ROTC or the Academy?
On the one hand, it’s the closest thing to basic training of the three (I think). On the other hand, the ROTC/Academy guys spent 3-4 years becoming officers, while OTS can just be a few months.
Is this seen as the easy way in? Will I have that stigma coming in?

On a related note:
I’ve got nothing but respect and admiration for enlisted guys, and genuinely don’t see them as “lesser” in any way.
I enjoyed working with the blue-collar guys at my engineering firm just as much as the white-collars.
Do y’all have any advice for me to avoid the two extremes of “arrogant/stuck up” and “pandering/trying-too-hard-to-make-friends-with-the-enlisted”?

Are y’all cool with officer-related questions here? I didn’t see another general for it.

The way green cards work here is that you actually need a legitimate reason to be here. It's usually, "I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me", or "I am a refugee from Southeast Asian shithole", or "I got a job in America."

I'm sure the military as an employer is not exempt from handing out greencards, but I seriously doubt they're hankering for guys right now.

Went to MEPS and had the physical done, but I forgot my glasses and they had to do my vision test uncorrected. Naturally, I did shit. Went through the rest of the day, signed the contract, took the oath, all that jazz. Got back to my recruiter and we looked over the job list, and come to find out that my poor vision test screwed me out of all the aircrew jobs I was interested in. Recruiter said he wasn't willing to send me back to MEPS just for a vision re-do, so I figured I ought to just sign the contract for a different job.

Now I'm kind of wondering if there's any way I can just get in with a different recruiter who might be more willing to send me back to MEPS. How binding is the oath of enlistment and the DEP contract?

It's only 18 weeks long. It wasn't too bad, less than 10% failed either of the two big tests. When they retested half of those guys passed and the other half recycled (not to day 1, just to the next class). Written tests are a joke since they are all open book. As for cool stuff it all depends on what you deem cool. The first half of class is interrogations which isn't classified and it's logic arguments. The second half is classified as secret. You won't learn any secret squirrel type stuff that's for later in your career of you get lucky with a unit that will send you for more training.

Two questions: Anyone do a lateral transfer, and anyone get a graduate degree while in? Looking into joining the Navy as an officer. I want to be a Chaplain, but I don't have a graduate degree in theology. As my life is right now, I wouldn't have the time or money to pursue the degree, so I spoke with a recruiter who was almost too enthusiastic about how easy it would be to join as one thing, do a tour, get my master's in theology while in, and then re-enlist as a chaplain. I'd like some opinions of someone without a quota.

BP is a federal LE agency, not part of the military. It's actually not that easy to get in, a lot of guys fail the artificial language test the first time. You also have to pass the background check. If you are a spanish speaker you can take a spanish proficiency test but be forewarned, if you are mexican or from any other spanish country other than spain, there is a good chance you'll fail because the test is based on colloquial spanish, not the gutter shit spanish that the people who hop the border speak (typical government stupidity) but BP is literally 50% mexican so it can't be that hard as long as you aren't retarded. BP academy is hard for non military but vets usually breeze through it. Also, much more academically challenging than basic training/boot camp because you have to learn laws and not just how to follow orders.

Friendly reminder that 35F is best route for those who either want to get into regiment or airborne without it being in their contract, and best MOS to have in case all goes to shit and you end up hating mil life.

Quick summary:
>35F, 3.5 year contract(one of the shortest), TS clearance, stupid easy job
>at AIT you can apply for rasp selections or airborne packet if your not a fuck up and can get at least an 80+ in each pt event. Its mostly 35M who are applying, so 35F has a shit ton of slots open due to most 35F having NEET bodies and lack of motivation to do anything more than what is required.
>if for whatever reason you end up hating being mil, you can cruise out your contract doing one of the most relaxed and easy office jobs for the shortest amount of time in a contract.

This is a good route for those who cant get an opt 40 in their contract, or just want the fastest way into regiment without having to deal with competition.

Furthermore, if you are seriously considering 35L, this would be the fastest route. All you need for 35L is 2 years TIS, E4 promotable(which is every e4), and a TS(not really, but it looks better). Also by being at ait in huachuca you have access to the GAFPB, which makes your record stand out when being considered for special shit.

I know for a fact they won't want me there. I'm not expecting anyone to cater to me, I want to prove myself worthy of other's respect. I don't think that's the case based on my experience. Pulling numbers out of my ass but I think it's something like 40% of people don't care or have no opinion, 30% of people think trannies are gross, 30% of people think trannies are ok. Maybe 5% of people have actually met a tranny in their life though, no one I know has ever met a trans person besides me, and I've never met one in person either.
>>
>>31339780
Only security people. Meps is just a transition point to get past. They have nothing to do with security clearances. and the investigator doesnt say shit to meps. All your unit will ever see is whether you are good to go or not. They wont have all the nitty gritty details unless they specifically go into your record and look for it. But if youre that paranoid u can just shred your folder when you switch units. And then no one but the S2 security office can request a copy of your shit. And they only do that if you fuck up bad enough that they have to review your access
>>
>>31340618
>40% of people don't care or have no opinion
thats a lie, they just dont want to be mean
>30% of people think trannies are ok
Also a lie for the exact same reason

The fact is if all those people had children they wouldnt want them to be trannies, if they were going on a date and found out the other person was trans they would cancel, they also wouldnt actively be friends with trannies either.

They are "ok" with it for other people, but not for it in there own lives. Its similar to a live and let live policy, just so long as it doesnt affect them.
>>
>>31339630
The key here is you told them about your shit. It's easy if you don't lie.

Also they do talk to people not on your list.
>>
>>31339868
My job in the army was s2 ncoic. I mostly dealt with security clearance issues. The rules for the background checks are stupid. And it doesnt help that the investigators for the most part have no mil experience. So when we would submit packets for older soldiers they would get kicked back because bases and addresses no longer existed. So we just made up addresses like for instance, 123 lightfighter dr, fort ord, ca. That base has been shut down since the 90s. Yet they accept the fake address.

Since youre looking at infantry, you will only have to deal with a background investigator if you are assigned to specific units, which is unlikely. Unless you go ranger or airborne.
>>
>>31340665
Absolutely wrong

Just because you wouldn't want your kids to be born in a wheel chair doesn't mean you wouldn't be friends with someone in a wheel chair. Just because you wouldn't date a black person doesn't mean you're racist or wouldn't mind being friends with/working with a black person. All that's the same with being trans. I factored people lying about it to be nice when I was thinking of those numbers. I get ten times more compliments and praise for being trans than people giving me shit for it. Surely plenty of them are just being nice about it or virtue signaling or whatever, but they can't all be bullshitting. And are people (men and women) lying to me or trying to be nice when they leave me their phone number or ask to get to know me better?

I am confident that a good number of people who tell their friends or post online that they think trannies are gross/insane have changed their tune even just a little by meeting me and realizing I'm just another normal person besides my appearance.
>>
>>31340713
>wheel chair doesn't mean you wouldn't be friends with someone in a wheel chair
Not the same at all, no one chooses to be in a wheel chair but people DO choose to be trannies

> you wouldn't date a black person doesn't mean you're racist
Pretty sure thats exactly what it means, again you dont choose to be black but you DO choose to be trans

>And are people (men and women) lying to me or trying to be nice when they leave me their phone number or ask to get to know me better?
Where the hell do you live?

Listen im sure people are nice to you now, but wait till you are im competition with these people.
Think about it, you are competiting against real women in the military for jobs, promotions, on APFTs. You dont think they are going to be talking about you behind your back cause your a man? Please pull your head out of your ass if you think this wont happen.
>>
>>31340616
Just google it, their are 3 tiers based off score. Its only offered at places with german army liasons...so very few, and only once in a blue moon. However, huachuca has a permanent liason so they host that shit very often. Obviously u can get it while in germany if you are lucky enough to get stationed there
>>
>>31340735
>Not the same at all, no one chooses to be in a wheel chair but people DO choose to be trannies

Now I know you're bullshitting. I had feelings of wanting to be a girl when I was four years old. I was told over and over it was a phase and I believed it and hoped for it every time. If they had a pill that made trans feeling go away, I would have taken it in an instant instead of transitioning, though I wouldn't take it now since I've already been on hormones a long time and things are going well.

Anyone who chooses to be trans isn't actually trans, they're just part of a fad.

>Where the hell do you live?
Georgia. Funny isn't it? It has an even better effect here because no one has seen a tranny before. Most people's only exposure to it is CNN or porn.

>Think about it, you are competiting against real women in the military for jobs, promotions, on APFTs
Then I hope the most qualified person gets the job. They can talk behind my back, even if you're not trans there will always be people talking behind your back. So what.

The only people they talked to that wasnt on my list was neighbors.

You gotta remember that these investigators are stay at home spouses or telecommuters at the mid level employment. For the most part they dont take the extra mile. They only work off of the info you give them and what they can gather from that.

My one buddy told them i was a team player who loved basketball. Ive never played basketball.

For school reference i gave them a random counselor who i met once, and didnt even know who i was.

Side note and off topic, there are these two investigators in northern california. One is an old white guy who looks like colonel sanders and dresses like him but in black. And the other is an old black man who wears a silk pinstripe suit with a pimps hat minus the feather.
>>
>>31340777
>I had feelings of wanting to be a girl when I was four years old.
Ya and i thought i was a dinosaur, you jsut got stuck in that phase. The real mentally ill part comes in when you actually decide to transition though. Do you honestly ever think youll look good? Your fake rubber ballsack pussy looks good? Cmon live in the real world.

>Georgia. Funny isn't it?
no, Atlanta has moer gays than san fran now. thats only a step away so i believe it.

>Then I hope the most qualified person gets the job.
Impossible, you have a genetic advantage over them and youll get the pity vote.
Your body developed with testosterone so even though you are taking estrogen the "damage" is already done. Chances are you are taller than every other girl and have a wider and denser bone structure. You have a leg up on them even if you dont want to admit it.

>>31340706

>>
>>31340829
The definition of mental illness is any thought or behavior that causes harm to yourself or others. Anything that doesn't meet that definition is not a mental illness.

If someone said "God/Satan/Whoever told me to become a doctor", they're not mentally ill even though to some that thought would sound delusional.

If someone said "God/Satan/Whoever told me to kill my next door neighbor" that would be mental illness because their thoughts and behavior are actively endangering another human being.

When I was actually depressed and miserable because I wasn't able to look like, talk like, dress like, and act like the way I wanted due to my gender, I had a real mental illness called gender dysphoria, when the sex you are doesn't match the sex you want to be and it causes you anguish. Successfully transitioning is the only know cure to that, and it worked for me. Stopped needing to see a therapist, went from being out of shape skinnyfat to /fit/ as fuk, now have a girlfriend and we've been together 2 years, family initially disowned me but after a while they came around and am now happyfor me.

>Chances are you are taller than every other girl and have a wider and denser bone structure. You have a leg up on them even if you dont want to admit it.
I hate to break it to you but some women are born freakishly tall, freakishly big, have unusually high testosterone or other natural advantages. I've heard that transsexuals are 1 in 30,000, it's actually a lot more common for there to be tall/masculine girls than for there to be a tranny. Being on hormones lowers your bone density significantly, it only takes 1-2 years for your bone density to be in the normal female range.

Regardless I would have no problem competing against men if that's what they wanted to do. It does not matter to me at all.

>Your fake rubber ballsack pussy looks good?
Dude what

Very, very few transsexuals get genital surgery. It's a waste of money.

>now have a girlfriend
So you are a tranny but also gay?

>I would have no problem competing against men if that's what they wanted to do
The problem is you would get btfo, you cant keep up with men if you are shooting up with estrogen. You say youre /fit/, what are your big lift maxes? Dont lie.

>Very, very few transsexuals get genital surgery. It's a waste of money.
Wait so you still have a dick and balls? Do you fuck your girlfriend with it?

>The definition of mental illness is any thought or behavior that causes harm to yourself or others.
Correct, and you are harming yourself whether you want to realize it or not.

>So you are a tranny but also gay?
I'm bi

>The problem is you would get btfo, you cant keep up with men if you are shooting up with estrogen. You say youre /fit/, what are your big lift maxes? Dont lie.
You don't have to lift weights to pass fitness standards do you?

I can do a 2 mile run in 12 minutes, 80 push ups in 2 minutes, and 9 pull ups. I mostly follow the /fit/ diet advice, not weight lifting. I'm sure I could push myself to greater results if I was really committed, I've just worked at it the last few years so that if they ever lifted the ban on trannies I would be ready, and luckily they did.

>Wait so you still have a dick and balls?
Well yeah I have those.

>Do you fuck your girlfriend with it?
I have before but I generally don't like to

>Correct, and you are harming yourself whether you want to realize it or not.
Explain to me how I'm harming myself.

If it's just with your regular paperwork it's not for a clearance. Your clearance paperwork will be like 15 pages all about your past i.e. places you've lived, people you've known, places you've worked, any criminal charges etc etc.

It's super in depth, you'd probably know if it was your clearance paperwork. If it's not I doubt they will even call any of your "references"

More degeneracy i see

>2 mile run in 12 minutes, 80 push ups in 2 minutes, and 9 pull ups
If you still have that much upper body strength that proves my point, youre still a man in every sense. The average woman cant even do a single pull up.

>I have before but I generally don't like to
this made me laugh so much, im imagining your girlfriend yelling at you to fuck her and you dont want to

>Explain to me how I'm harming myself
If you cant see it then you are so deluded that theres really no point to continuing this

The military, just by virtue of being an organization of millions of human beings, is filled with straights, gays, bisexuals, foot fetishists, animal fetishists, bondage fetishists pedophiles, you name it. Thing is most humans have enough sense to keep that sort of thing to themselves and maintain normalcy. You'd be surprised just how many people with strange desires or fetishes or whatever actually use a strong work ethic to keep their feelings in check. A gay guy who's a total fag and distracts the unit by being obnoxiously gay shouldn't be there, but neither should a guy who gets drunk after every shift and fucks around on base, or anything else. Me being bi doesn't mean shit, there's already tons of soldiers who are bi. Take a guess how popular thailand is with American soldiers

There's lots of women who can blow me out of the water

I have the results of someone who's been working at it for years, and it's nothing special or spectacular. The average woman, and average man, are well below minimal fitness standard. The average person has poor strength. My girlfriend can do three pulls.

>If you cant see it then you are so deluded that theres really no point to continuing this
Weak, cop out answer. If it's so obvious it should be easy to explain it.

>There's lots of women who can blow me out of the water
tha is a single cherry picked example, theres a reason the pull up requirements in the marines are so very different for women and men. Also that women has almost no BF ans a wide back, ever heard of test-e and anavar?

>Take a guess how popular thailand is with American soldiers
Unlike you ive actually been there, no one fucks the ladyboys.

The tab is for completing scool and just means you completed a leadership course, the scroll is what you're talking about which you get after passing RASP and sent to regiment. You still have to pass ranger school after rasp though, so it's like anyone who has a tab isn't a ranger and anyone who has a scroll and is in regiment is a ranger. I'm doing the same thing currently, good luck.

So I'm joining the Air Force. Just took my asvab last week got over a 70. So did pretty okay.

Just wondering.

How do sign up bonuses work?

How can I secure to go to a country I really want to go to?

What are the best jobs that can lead to a good career? Don't want some dumb shit like kitchen duty.

>How do sign up bonuses work?

Ask what is available, get it in your contract. It gets paid out sometime after completion of training, generally in installments.

>How can I secure to go to a country I really want to go to?

Not generally something you can get in your initial contract. Some services let you get some say in where you go after training if you did really well during the training course, but I don't know about the Air force.

>What are the best jobs that can lead to a good career? Don't want some dumb shit like kitchen duty.

Computer/intelligence/medical jobs are all fairly transferable. Even stuff like aviation electronics can get you set up for certain contracts. A clearance is a good plus too.

I've been told that they're always looking for good medics though cause rasp is a nut buster and socm is even worse

Of the following countries, which ones should I "forget to mention" while seeking a security clearence (if any)

Thailand, Jamaica, Belize, and Tunisia

I've been to other countries, but they are all considered very safe and friendly to the US, those ones I am not 100% sure about

Unless you've been to mainland China, Russia, or (somehow) North Korea, I wouldn't think it would be worth lying about any countries that you've visited.

Damn. Was really hoping to go somewhere cool.
