Can you join the army after a suicide attempt?

Not if you admit it or it is recorded.

If it's in you medical record or you admit it then no it's a done deal. If it was one of those moments of weakness in your house by yourself and no one but you and God know then you can get in if you never speak of it.

Ok thanks

Is it documented? Did you get Baker Acted afterwards?
If so, you cannot join.
If you've never been involuntarily committed, you should keep your mouth shut at MEPS because they don't know about medical records unless you tell them they exist.
>already showing a severe lack of coping skills
>insincere drama, cry for attention
>now thinks army is a good idea
america. what a country.

The army in any country is perfect for people who lack coping skills, it's nothing but structure. Considerably easier than real life.

M'kay.

Murder suicide within the armed forces is a pretty weak statistic to cite. It's about as common as murder suicide in other work. More common in military-centric nations with conscription.
That becomes more of an issue in the U.S. for instance when a soldier leaves that structured environment, supporting my point.

No, but you can suicide after a join the army attempt
Were you successful? If so, probably not.

Nigger did you just use a fictional character to try and support a real-world argument?

Army does not have access to your medical files, only the information that you volunteer.
If there is a criminal record on it, that is another thing.
OP I have nothing against you joining with a suicide attempt, but just make sure you are really mature enough to join.
I didn't have a suicide attempt under my belt, but I certainly wish I would have joined at an older age.

not if you're successful

just try it again lad, and record it
