Auto sears. Which school are you located in? Cool that your school has a CNC machine.

What kind of CNC.
How advanced is it?

Chances are you probably won't have an opportunity to make something that you want to make.
If you do, make sure it's one single part, not something that'll take different setups and cycles to complete.

we have a haas toolroom mill (a VF2 i think), a couple small baron max mills, a wire EDM, and a few other misc machines.

I'll be perfectly honest, dude: If on the off chance you ever do get the chance to make something you want to make, make a tool or something.
Because I can guarantee the rest of your life is going to be making things to make other things, and you're going to wish you'd had the chance to use that CNC machine to save you the time of having to make the thing yourself on a manual.

eh, my instructor is pretty chill, and i can't use my CNC time for my manual projects, so i've gotta figure out some shit to make.
i think i have the black lung from my buffing wheel.
polished brass looks fucking cool though.
bump.

Anything else like dumbass suggested and you could see prison time as a manufacturer.
