Personally, Beretta makes a good pistol. It's got great simple stuff that makes it a pill and shoot kinda fun.

CZ is similar in regards to ease of use, but ergonomics fit for adding on devices and sights. More of an obvious military style pistol.

Both are great in their price range, can't go wrong with either. Think wallet and long term plinking comfort with these

I prefer PX4 but it's literally 100% subjective

the sp01 is steel. it's pretty heavy. that's not a bad thing unless you're trying to carry it. The fit and finish on both pistols is kinda bad. I really think it comes down to the weight of the pistol and which trigger you like more.
personally, already owning an h&k p30, I would buy an sp01 as a nice range gun, because the px4 fills a lot of the same niche the p30 does.

Get an actual CZ. Own it and see that after a while the thing will start to be more trouble than its worth. Everything from cracked slides to small parts breaking goes wrong with them.

As it stands, the Px4 is a fine gun. It's just not popular because autism in the gun community perpetuates the idea that polymer handguns are less reliable than steel, which has been disproven many, many times over the years.
