I know this exact question has probably been asked a million times but I need advice before I throw down $.
Should I buy a geiselle trigger? PSA has a deal on the SSA ($170) and SSA-E ($190) right now...
I bought an ar15 4 months ago and I get decent groups at 50 yards and have gotten alot better at my trigger discipline with a standard trigger. I feel like a better trigger would make it alot more fun for me.
I want this rifle to be my home defense, fun range gun. I also want to take it hog hunting in the near future. Pic related

A good trigger is probably the best investment for a rifle.
PA has a better deal btw.
MBT is another option.

You won't want to use a mil-spec trigger again.

Yeah, that's what I am afraid of... I don't want it to become a crutch.
But just like how I force myself to use irons every now and then, I think I'll just use a buddies stock ar to make sure I don't lose respect for a proper trigger pull.
another nice thing about geissele triggers is they hold their value very well. you could use it a lot and easily sell it for 10% less than you paid originally.

That's silly. Technology makes your life easier. As long as you understand the basic principles of marksmanship, you can shoot any trigger or rifle.
Nobody says break out the horse wagons because I don't want my car to be a crutch.

That's a good point.
It's just whenever I think about making a purchase over a hundred bucks I start making up reasons (logical and not) to not buy it. Which doesn't matter anymore.

You got it at 25% off. If you don't like it, sell it for a small profit.

Sooo now that I got that... What should I save up for to put on my ar? Fyi its a standard psa lower with a nib bcg.
Maybe it's time for me to get a handgun.
Other than ammo.

A ling with QD if you don't have one.
A glock 19 or similar if you want a handgun. Holster and gear.

I wouldnt buy from PSA when people are reporting their credit card getting stolen after purchasing from them.
