So while everyone else is running around getting stabbed and shot, I'll be covered in a 70/30 mix of foliage and yarn.
I'm thinking of getting burlap netting, have the gf sew it into a cape and then attaching fake plants.to it.
Dead leaves or green vines, then having a dry short grass base.
This is the suit oftb, I bought some dried long grass to lighten it up a bit. Currently tying it all down.
No one getting comfy with a ghillie?

Too heavy if you have to move anywhere. I used to paintball with a guy that had a badass one. But it was heavy as fuck and he ended up being fucking useless because he never wanted to move.

Too heavy? By all accounts, the yarn Should weigh at most 5 pounds and then it's just a mesh top and pants. Or a canvas.
What level of fitness considers this too heavy?

And the moment you step into any urban enviorment you will get shot. I mean in that pic alone you have a privacy height fence so its obvious you are at least in the suburbs, And with the exception of the bushes in the front lawn and the local golf course to use it you're better off just going Grey-Man like the rest of us and blending in instead of sticking out...

Depends how much moving you are going to do and what other gear you need to carry. 5-10 extra pounds can be alot on a long hike.

Have fun untangling yourself from every stick and thorn you walk past. Ghillies are shit if you plan on moving at all.
