Most of the center fire pistols were older carry guns. I now carry my M&P9 IWB with a Steathgear Onyx holster. For backup, home/gym carry, i flipflop between the NAA, FIE, 42, and LCP.

Actually replaced the Shield with a M&P9c and sold the 442. Now added an FNX-9 to the collection. I'll be updating the pic as soon as my MPX gets back from getting its K-conversion done.

There is also a Rossi 20ga single shot and black powder 1858 .44 missing from the pic since they were having work done during the taking of this photo.

Im not much a revolver guy but I really want a Ruger revolver in my collection like yours, although I have my heart set on a 686 competitor.

Still cant purchase suppressors yet. Another 6 months till I can do that. I really like my GP100. I was deciding between that and the 686 but ultimately it won out. Its a KSG. Its a neat sci-fi gun and I enjoy as a novely. Would not purchase for any serious use or at actual MSRP

Not really a fan of modern rifles or rails.

However, I do have a GI PTR-91 with the wood stock/handguard, and german surplus claw mount. I have yet to get optics for it.

I bought a couple for $200 a piece, I gave one as a gift to a friend, and I traded the other one for a really nice Turkish mauser and a 91/30, which I still have neither of those guns.

I do regret not keeping one from when they were cheap (same goes for all milsurp rifles), but at the time, I always thought I could always buy one later for the same price.

Im suprised you havent seen the difference in the different type of 308 ARs. I know Armalite calls them AR-10s but they make AR-308s. DPMS and I think LMT make legitimate AR-10s. Dont know for sure if those would work. Ask people on Arfcom or something lmao

The sights are nice, the gun is heavy, big, and has a solid kick to it. Reloading it is a lot of fun too.

I noticed that the wood stock and handguard are actual surplus G3 parts left over from the HK factory. They've been sanded, but you can still see faint nicks and dings.

It jammed a bit when I bought it brand new, however after about 4 or 5 mags, it started working flawlessly. Manual says something about a break in period.

I suggest going through CDNN. During some special sale, I got the rifle brand new with a sling, medium power scope and scope mount, and 10 mags, all for $800... or was it $900. I can't remember. Still a good deal either way.

You can find some shitty ones for around $700. Ammo is a bitch to find so I say go with the 9mm but expect to pay a lot more than I did. I have a new barrel and it is refinished which brings collector value and price down. I don't care about that in this one since I wanted one I could shoot without feeling bad.

Gun broker is your best bet. Armslist has them from time to time too.
