We were allowed to carry 2 magazines with 5 rounds each into the watch towers, an m240 belt with 35 rounds, no more than that, and 2 40mm nade launcher rounds. The MFO had to get special permission from the Egyptian government each time we went to rifle qualification and we were only allowed to give it one shot because the Egyptians only said we could have 40 rounds each for rifle qual.

UCP is not an uniform unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning ACU system made useful by the ACU cargo pockets, NIR technology and hook-and-loop components comprising a full CU as defined by USDoD.
