He has only had the Egyptian T-34-SPG-convertion-thing for a couple of months.
He hasn't had time to fix it up yet.
Apparently it spent a few years getting rained on in an English car park before he got it, that's why it looks crummy.

The owner runs and import/export car business.

As far as I know he hasn't had many dealings with the middle east.
But he has been involved in some pretty shady stuff.

When he started his collection he had about 4 vehicles.
Two of them were too large to fit in his barn and were parked outside.
He regularly drove them all around the farm.

When he wanted to know if it was legal to import tanks he decided to call the army using a friend's phone.
Whoever he spoke to called him by his full name and told him that he should "build a new barn he can fit the whole collection into, because the Russians have been sending us satellite photos of your farm and are raving about 'fleets of tanks hidden away in civilian buildings'. "

Reputation has it he's also friends with former officers of the Yugoslav army that come over to drink, shoot guns, and drive armored vehicles around on the farm.

He had to get rid of his gun collection because he had tons of trouble with the women in his life (he finds it difficult to stick to just one) and he was scared he was going to get shot in his sleep.

Still, his big annual panzer parties are fun as fuck!
Last year some guy brought his SMG and a fuckton of ammo.
He let people dump a mag for 10 bucks.

The year before that someone else brought a .50BMG rifle and let people try to shoot at beer cans from a significant distance.
