I'm going hiking soon and was wondering if pic related boots would work well?
I have a pair, they work pretty well.

I was class 1-92 in US Army Ranger school. We were issued black jungle boots to test out. Halfway through the course, a lot of them had blown out backs. The rear of the boots became unstitched.
I prefer canvas, green jungles.

I like it
Chair Force here. Bought them for the looks and nostalgia. Not great, but not terrible. Worn them through the rain and mud, feet have never got wet with them, despite the drains on the side. Not a lot of cushion, but I do more standing than marching or rucking, so maybe they work better there.
Previously wore Corcoran Marauders. More comfortable, great for marching, but you're fucked if there's a bit of moisture since they are mostly cloth.

Modern combat boots or actual hiking boots are much better, especially if your gonna be out for multiple days and carrying a heavy pack.
I've made this mistake a few times and used jungle boots for a big hike, i thought soldiers wore them for months on end, and walked all over carrying heavy shit, they'll work fine. I was wrong. They are tough and cheap, but there are a million other shoes that are better at not rubbing blisters or giving you incredibly sore feet after lugging a pack all day.
when your hiking no one sees how cool your boots look, and if your boots are painful or defective it will be all you think about.

I've got a pair I wear for field/guns stuff. No real complaints here, just break them in (wear them all the time and don't expect to just throw them on and be able to go innawoods). When I was in I loved my bates lights but I don't like the tan for my own use. Belts gotta match shoes brah.

Lowa Renegade LL is the one to get for day hiking.
Thanks for all the great advice

They're fine, just make sure they're broken in before you go. Blisters while on a hike? Pic related.

I'd get an updated version.
