Pic related, it's the same as mine but not my picture.

Damn, feels bad man.
Shouldn't be too hard to get the barrelled action out and into another stock though right?
Pic is Crossman Challenger PCP (Precharged Pneumatic)
.177 cal Compressed CO2/Air Rifle
Can be filled via Scuba tank, bottle, or handpump
Absolute delight to shoot, shot on my HS ROTC rifle team with one. Could drive nails with it at 10m, hitting pencil dots consistently in standing kneeling and prone.
So just rifles? Eh, I don't do competitions or real sport shooting anyways.

Hard part is finding another stock. Theyre basically nonexistent thanks to the limited production. Boyds makes a replacement but ive got thousands of rounds and tons of memories on that stock. My dad's a master wood worker so I've been waiting for him to drill/dowel/epoxy it. PSA: all Marlin 2000Ls have insanely week stocks, ive seen two others break in the same spot.

Airgun shooting never gets enough credit, going from DE in nra 3 position .22 to recreational air rifle shooting was a big change. The little things matter 10x more.

OP here, used to shoot hunter field target with my HW100kt until I got an irreparable gas leak. Got tired of maxing out the turret on my scope to shoot past 50yds after getting an irreparable regulator leak.
Here's mine.

Moving from Olympic 3 Pos. Air rifle shooting to shooting a 103 year old 7mm 93 Mauser was an even bigger leap.
That long-ass barrel and decent weight gives it less kick than an AR but a hell of a lot more punch I have to say.

Now I can't even imagine making a leap like that, I started on service rifles when I was a child so I've always been 'scailing down' instead of scaling up if that makes any sense.

Opinions of using an M24 for service rifle matches?
Ive been told it's allowed but "not very sporting".
