When you expect to receive them

How long you are waiting

How to distract yourself from the crippling pain of your new toys being kidnapped by dog killers

I've got pic related sitting in jail for almost 3 months now, and I haven't even gotten confirmation that my check has been cashed. I'll prolly call mid-Oct to get some info then.

I've heard that as of mid-Aug they had barely started inputting form 4 info from May. So after getting the info put in you then get into the stack to get your forms checked for validity. I hope I get to see my cleared form before next June.

I distract myself by shooting my other suppressors. If its your first well then just try to forget about it, which will be impossible but still.

hybrid and 9mm octane on form 4 since last feb so i expected them already

ar lower and 45acp converted mauser on form 1 since IDK but not really sure what to do with the lower and not in a huge rush for the mauser project so i dont really care how long.

About 500 of these bad boys.
Before bullshit is called
There is no specific treaty ban on the use of DU projectiles.
There is a developing scientific debate and concern expressed regarding the impact of the use of such projectiles and it is possible that, in future, there will be a consensus view in international legal circles that use of such projectiles violate general principles of the law applicable to use of weapons. No such consensus exists at present.

The DU debacle has more to do with M1 Abrams having it in its armour and when hit by something(mostly HEAT) it gets really really hot and may potentially get dangerously radioactive in proper conditions. As usual tinfoilhats are clueless to what causes the shit they see.

The ammo itself is fine and not really dangerous. You can literally sleep next to this shit and it's not going to do anything that let's say - lead - wouldn't do.

Mine took about three months IIRC, he gave me some story about his lathe being down and not having the correct tools when I asked.
>>
>>31196521
Fuck man, I've waited so long as it is, if I really have to wait a matter of months to get such a simple job done it's going to piss me off. Maybe what he told you is the truth and it really did take longer due to unforeseen circumstances. But gunsmiths in general seem to have a thing for massively overly-optimistic time estimates. I just want to put my PS90 back together. Fuuuuck

Did you assemble yours yourself? Any tips on how to get the barrel back on?
>>
>>31196587
Nigga you best hope you stuck a dowel rod in its place to hold everything together while the barrel was being worked on, otherwise you may want to order some extra elbow grease.

I reassembled mine with the springs all loosey goosey and no longer captured to see what it was like. Would not recommend.
>>
>>31196609
Yeah I did because I saw some video where a guy said to do that.

Did you just tighten the barrel and let the muzzle device stop against the receiver? Or did you secure the muzzle device and then tighten?

Normally not a fan of one point slings, but it works exceptionally well with such a small package as an SBR'd PS90. Rides right where I want it, doesn't shift around, and draws very quickly.

Only thing I don't like about it is you have to take it off, at least partially, to remove the buttpad/trigger pack.

This is the written equivalent to a nice car getting keyed. Same shit happens whenever the SCAR is discussed, the little flock of jellies pipe up and sneer.

We are sorta close to having a health bill passed that will include suppressors as "hearing safe" devices, which would revolutionize the way people view and use cans. In NZ you can buy them in the Pharmacy, and you are expected to use them.

I fought over the course of several years here in Iowa to pass the suppressor bill and make them legal here - prayer, study, emails, calls, talking to people. After the third time through senate it finally passed. We then went to a Suppressor Rally in IA and good times were had, I shot a Barrett MRAD in 338 Lapua and dozens of other suppressed weapons for free. Some lolitician used the event to speak & try to garner appreciation, nobody paid much attention to him. But the general "vibe" in that crowd was awesome - orderly, respectful, friendly. The wind blew a bunch of papers off a reg table and they were almost instantly picked up and returned to the table by 10 people downwind.

This is the difference between thoughtful, respectful patriots, and a bunch of scofflaws screwing mag lights onto their AK's in their backyard. We don't like the law, but we have to deal with it. When the law says "turn in yer guns" then it will be like Connecticut where the vast majority will say "no"; and now there are 350,000 "felons" living in that state, simply by the stroke of a pen. Those citizens did not "suck eachothers dicks" and turn in their rifles as instructed, they stood their ground.

Everything we do, including taxes, funds the alphabet boys- and therein lies a problem, where we feed the very beast that threatens to eat us alive. But; it is hard to make changes in the system when you are in jail. So we do what we can and work to peacefully improve the laws in the meantime.
>>
>>31202807

Have fun. It's retarded with the stock. The adapter plate adds about 1/8" that isn't in the original design so the stock wobbles crazily. I have a parts kit with a cut receiver and the stock sits nice and firm on the cut end but wriggles on my receiver

>>
>>31203569

>>
>>31203681

I guess technically, in theory, you could have it pinned and be fine. My AR has a pinned muzzle brake. Silencer is only mentioned once in the assault weapon definition;

>(II) A threaded barrel capable of accepting a flash suppressor, forward pistol grip or silencer;

https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_943.htm#sec_53-202a

So technically yes I guess? But you would have to get a gun with a threaded barrel somehow which is explicitly banned.

Maybe if you get the fun store to hold a gun and pin the silencer for you.

Is pinning a silencer even a good idea though? Don't you have to take it off for proper cleaning?
