That's my brief on it. What I find more interesting is the aftermath, when in pursuit of the Hutus who fled into Zaire Rwanda and a coalition of African countries blitzkrieg the Congo in a very short time period during the 1st Congo War, then Rwanda/Uganda/Burundi take on most of their former allies in the 2nd. Some serious shit went down after the Rwandan genocide, which is unfortunately forgotten. Also during both Congo Wars the UN again established itself as a bureaucratic slow shitty machine as it failed to alleviate the situation in any way.
