It is pinned in place after it is press fit to the barrel. You would have to press out the old pin then align it properly, press it back on then drill the hole again slightly oversized for an oversized pin. You might also have to un pin and press off the FSB and gas block just so you could access the and press off the RSB. It would be a lot of work to just to satisfy your autism about it being centered. It would probably cost a couple hundred at a gunsmith to have him do it, you could do it for less yourself but it isnt going to be easy

This. Front sight posts are a bit easier. Rear sight is a bitch. As long as the rifle can be zeroed I'd just learn to deal with it if i were you OP.

All you would need in terms of tools is a hydraulic press and a drill press, then some misc hand tools and bits. The actual pin itself is not expensive. It would still be more of a pain in the ass than it is worth though and probably would take several hours.
