Spyderco delica
Benchmade griptillian
Kershaw blur in s30v

It's easier to recommend depending on your style preferences.

Thanks man. I think I'll go with the delica. My father had a spyderco of some type and I found it really nice.

Also consider the endura it's the same as the delica with a longer blade. Also you can get your favorite color probably (same for delica).

The VG10 is probably my favorite steel from spyderco.

too big for edc carry but it's always in my briefcase. +1

Been carrying a Benchmade 530 for the past 2-3 years or so. Nice little knife, 154CM, not too expensive for a Benchmade. Only gripes are that the blade shape is not the most functional ever (though certainly not a hinderance), and the steel liners don't run the full length of the handle. It's a really nice, thin little knife to carry, but I always feel like if I ever applied too much force, I could break the polymer handle. In any case, it sees daily abuse, and the only thing it has to show for that is some finish wear on the pocket clip.

Currently, I'm thinking about upgrading to a 943. Slightly bigger and heavier, but I like the blade shape better and want aluminum handle scales. S30V steel is a nice bonus, too. I'd look at more non-Benchmades, but I've managed to get addicted to the AXIS lock doohickey and can't bring myself to go back to a liner/frame lock.
