Most sets of modern body armor come with an optional groin protector. It's good for up to NIJ IIIA in most cases. But if anything rated above NIJ IIIA hits it, then you're gonna have a bad time.

I mean you could probably try and fit a 6x8" E-SAPI in the groin protector, but that thing's gonna be swing and hitting your balls if you start running around.
