Its okay. The DA trigger pull is rough, but the SA is nice. Also the gun can be a bit snappy, but not terribly so, it only becomes an issue if you're firing alot of rounds at a range to practice.

I have one from classic. It's okay I suppose. Try not to drop it with one in the chamber. Buy a ppk holster or bersa 380 holster as well... At the range it hurts the webbing of your hand after about 30-50 rounds

You did good. I got one because i couldnt find a ppk in as good condition as a p64. Finding a holster was tough, i ended up getting a james bond vega one and its pretty good. The double action sucks, but who the fuck shoots in double action? Now if someone tackled me and i had to squeeze the trigger the da is not an issue. I usually carry condition 3, because thats what i trained to do. So i always am at SA when i shoot. The hand select is a lie btw, i paid for it and the grips it came with were shittier than my friends who bought regular price the same day. Main thing u need to do to prevent hand webbing from hurting is dremel the plastic grip where the contact point is. That solved all issues for me until i got nice rubber grips from p64 forum.

You dun goof'd. The fuckin thing is as heavy as some compact and full size pistols, while only having a 6 round capacity of a .380-like cartridge. It's not drop safe. The trigger is horrendous. It's not fun to shoot. It's too heavy and far too big to comfortably pocket carry.

What you should have bought was a Ruger LCP for $200

You don't know anything about guns, m8. Leave gun design to the experts, who do know better than you. Plastic guns aren't going to melt when you're shooting them and they tend to be less prone to frame cracks than metal guns due to the fact that polymer flexes.

I found a tangfolio gt 380(Beretta clone) with a worse trigger that can't be fixed. Strongly considered it until that point since it was a police gun and Cabelas wanted $150 for it with 2 mags included. The p64 at least has the ability to have its trigger pull fixed.

Why didn't you just by a Bersa or a Ruger LCP? Both of those guns are lightweight and are found to be incredibly reliable by the people who use them.

pros:
heavy and takes recoil well (i like solid guns)
DA/SA, carry one in the chamber and can decock it for carry
mine was very accurate, i could get a nice group at 15 yards

cons:
fucking slide bite (i have larger hands)
DA trigger is fucking heavy

overall: nice piece of history, fun to fuck around with, but if you really want a dependable carry gun for cheap, buy a used glock.

I don't know if my belt sucks or I have unrealistic expectations but the mak feels fucking HEAVY. Like it is a godamn anchor.

I don't mind the low capacity but good christ lugging this fucker around is a chore. I feel like I am printing constantly and have to readjust my belt every 10 minutes.
