Does anyone use the x95 as your main weapon?
>>
>>31166509
I know somebody with th Jew Gun. I've shot it a decent amount. I actually kind of like it. The trigger is heavy, but not as much of an issue as I thought it would be.

I still don't like how it feels as much as a conventional layout, but it's shootable.
>>
>>31166509
Tbh I like the older version better. The angled handguard felt better to me, the charging handle placement was easier for me, and the 'thumbknuckle' mag release was starting to really grow on me. I will admit the pushbutton mag release up front is definitely an improvement, as well as the trigger pull.

Primary arms had them for like $1.6k but they sold out in an instant.

I'd like a green one like in OP but they're selling out everywhere despite the stupid high price tag for a half-plastic jewgun that doesn't even have a free-floated barrel and puts groups the size of an elephant at 100 yds.

Why don't Tavors have free-floated barrels?

From what I read the earlier ones did but why did they change that?
>>
>>31167921
To sell the XX95 with free float barrel and improved trigger.
>>
>>31167827
>meanwhile people in free states getting them for $1.6k
There are a few Tavors going for $1,499.99 in the gun library at my local cabela's and they've been sitting dormant for months. Bullpupphobia is real and it is masked by anti semitism.

Not until they unfuck the accuracy.

No, people just don't like Tavors.

AUGs are way better, brah. Why should you settle for less?

Really? If it can't shoot accurately the entire point of a bullpup is defeated, unless you make the barrel really short for super compact rifle.

You probably shouldn't be buying guns if that little bump is an issue man.
>>
>>31170478
Not to be argumentative, but if you just wanted more velocity (from like a 22" 5.56 barrel) a bullpup might be the way to go for home defense.

In fact, if I expected armored intruders, a 22" bullup or AR shooting some XM193 might be my top pick.
>>
>>31170539

Wait is it that bad?

I heard they were around 2 MOA or less from the factory
>>
>>31169065

Mechanically, AUGs are nice. That beautiful action, and quick change barrel.

Ergonomically, they are quite dated. Personally this is why I'm a fan of the x95 Tavor. I really wish they would revise and modernize the AUG's design.
>>
>5MOA
>>
>>31172239
I got to use an aussie AUG while I was deployed in Iraq. It is was an older model with the built in 1.5x optic. It was a wonderful rifle. Better than any m16 or m4 I had in the army. progressive trigger is nice too.
>>
>>31170573

$500 is a lot of money senpai

Enough to build another AR or get a very nice used handgun
>>
>>31169035
isnt it just the ring on the barrel that fks w the accuracy? I thought i heard of some people claiming the accuracy was better once you removed it but i dont know much else

It's a military gun. If you don't want one go make some range ninja AR with a hbar.
>>
>>31172848
>It's a military gun.
It's a civilian copy of a military service rifle, you can play make-believe with it all day long, but at the end of of the day it isn't a real Tavor.
>>
>>31172932
It's the military gun made for the US market Not a copy. Pretty close to the exact thing minus the buttpad.
>>
>>31172947
>Pretty close to the exact thing minus the buttpad.
Except for, y'know, the whole semi-auto only thing. But sure, "close to exact"
>>
>>31166509
AUG is better. FS2000 is better. Bushmaster m17 is better. An sks in a crappy bullpup stock is better.
>>
>>31172967
The IDF don't issue Tavors with giggle switches anymore.
>>
>>31170573
$500 is almost enough for a brand new gun.

No one in their right mind should pay a $500 increase just because "hurr durr California", that's absurd.

You're better off abiding your time or just finding a different rifle.
>>
>>31172967
Many if the actual issue Tavors are semi only.
And even if they weren't it's something you have to give up to actually own the gun.
>>
>>31173121
>No one in their right mind should pay a $500 increase just because "hurr durr California", that's absurd
He's paying that because that's what the market in California decided it was worth, hence them selling for that price. I personally would buy a PSA AR15 and be done but I'm not a gun hoarder who has to have a closet full of memes.
>>
>>31173229

The original SAR tavor was better and not neutered for the U.S market. That and it comes with the option to swap out the barrel it comes with to an 18 inch barrel as needed. Also the SAR tavor is getting 1.75-3 moa pending on ammo and can be semi free floating when you remove the rubber "u" upfront. I get 1.8-2 moa at 100 yards with 55 grain m193 which is good since it should not see past 400 yards with 5.56 -.223 anyway.
in order
AUG>TAVOR SAR>X95
Never buy an X95... its looks like shit to boot. at least the SAR tavor has curves and looks mean.
>>
>>31172990
This plus SAR modded tavor. a problem solver century arms ak47 is better then an x95.

all this
>m-muh combat accuracy
>gun for WAR don't need to be accurate

Inherent inaccuracy is just going to compound on top of your other user-dependent accuracy factors, especially in a stressful situation. It is much argued over how much is acceptable, but 5 MOA from a bench rest is pretty horrendous.

If you want to talk about military rifles, how about the Scar 17s? It shoots sub-MOA on a bad day and is as reliable and durable as a brick shithouse

Civilian micro tavor basically.

Except with semi-auto, longer barrel and buttpad for burgerlaws.

The "original" SAR tavor or w/e people here call it was woefully outdated and in the middle of being phased out by the IDF when they started importing it here.

From the factory the SAR is just as shit as the x95.

Take off the barrel bushings on both and you'll get similar accuracy.

Internally and functionally the SAR tavor and the x95 are virtually identical. Stop talking about them like they're two different guns.

give me 3 reasons why I should care about the X95 at all It does not support the tar podium in prone it looks more like a rectangle, have 2 more points of barrel contact over the original. There still is no word on a different pistol grip or curved buttpad from manticore arms.
