Suggest gear for exploring a storm drain for an extended period of time. Keep in mind that there's water almost to the ankles, and there's a possibility of hydrogen sulfide in the deeper parts.

Board shorts, flip flops and a surgical mask. You'll be fine.
Define extended.
Multiple days?
Either way I'd say respirator, waterproof boots. A hammock to secure to ladders or pipes to sleep dry. Flashlight, spare batteries, road flares just in case both those fail. Rope because you never know. And obviously a knife. Preferably something innocent like a little utility folder in case cops nab you up.

A flare wouldn't be a good idea, because hydrogen sulfide is extremely flammable. An emergency chemlight would be better.

Consider the following:
>flares are cooler

You got him there, m8

>explore storm drain for multiple days
>it starts raining
>drown
Have you really thought this out, STALKER?

Yours shall be a worthy sacrifice. I'll light a roach to you.

Such is life in the unnaground. I'll document my experiences on /k/ whenever I'm at a manhole. If I should suddenly stop updating, assume that I have been killed by tunnel spooks.
>>31165807
Is this the point I get to flush out the tunnels with expanding polyurethane?
>>31165807
Nothing down there except the usual tunnel trash. Also where in commie you located. Theres a ditch with lots of tunnels behind my yes.

I'm in Antelope, about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown.

If you can smell Hydrogen Sulfide, then it may already be at dangerous levels. At toxic levels, your sense of smell shuts down, and you die.
The toxic threshold level is 10 parts per million. 1000 ppm kills you with a single breath. I hope you have some sort of effective gas mask handy if you run into it.

Is this good enough?

I don't really know. In industry, safety gear for this kind of hazard is usually bought from certified suppliers, and fitted by Employee Health and Safety professionals.
This may protect you long enough to turn around and run for your life if you smell H2S. Otherwise, you might be better off getting advice from some sort of trained professional.
>>31166086
I could always go for the expensive but far safer SCBAs
>>31166101
Maybe. I'm definitely not qualified to advise you on this. H2S is an actual and lethal hazard here. You should probably talk to someone who is actually qualified to give you good advice.

Fug mane. I'm close to the build site of the wall
OP here, I'm going to bed. Here are some links to some unnaground stuff
