I just ordered a archangel stock for my pre-bubba'd SKS. What am I in for. Also /sks/ general I suppose.

You've ruined that poor gun

my motherland gave you glorious AK, but you must ruin WWII-era rifle,by turning it into weird clone of kalashnikov, full of plastic and tacticool shit.
what a shame, you, son of filthy whore !

It was designed and tested during WWII, so technically it is a WWII rifle.
Claims of large scale field testing near the end of the war as well.

Came pre-bubba'd. It's a early Norinco. Mostly matching numbers, in great shape. I'm buying the Archangel for a fun, ar/ak function clone, but it came with a shitty ass Monte Carlo stock. So I plan on trading that for a factory wood stock. Already bought a original magazine for it. Also, bought a new bolt, because it had the drop free bolt mod done on it. So that way I'll have a tacticool fun range toy (I'm poorfag so it's my only rifle, and will be for a while), while still having all the parts to keep it original.

Getting an sks on the 6th. All original type 56 made in the 60's... Not a scratch on it. Looking forward do it.

The webm explain it
>>31166283
It's a myth that it was tested during WW2, no evidence exists to support it whatsoever.

Explain the webm. I'm thinking it's either a big bomb or an earthquake

Not actually sure, but I think it's Underground nuke tests.

I have a bunch of these that I haven't look at for a while actually... But they're not really on topic...

Nothing wrong with trying to modernize an outdated platform without permanently modifying it friendo.

Related to OP: I have a bubba'd SKS that I'm trying to save.
Where's a good place to buy surplus SKS parts for the model I've got?
>>31167668
Anywhere you can find them. If you see a price that is too expensive and are waiting for it to go down, don't. It isn't going down and you may loose your chance to buy it permanently. Arsenal kits are quickly disappearing. I paid 42$ for a new bolt for my Norinco and it was hard to find. Armslist, GunBroker, and Ebay are the main source of original parts I've been able to find. Most everyone else is aftermarket stocks.

no it's shit
kys and get a decent rifle lol
'modernizing' would include tapping for optics and a trigger or bedding job not some hack job nigger shit for bubbas
