>Best cleaning method
Hot water. Boiling if you can manage it. Then just clean like normal.

Hot water through the barrel and basic cleaning like the other anon said and if you notice some rust forming a brass brush is your best friend

I just get some hot tap water and dip a patch in then just go to town. Run dry patches until water is gone then use hoppes or whatever you usually clean with. Works fantastic with my german k98 after shooting corrosive surplus.
Barrel shank pic. The receiver is an izhevsk dated 1902
Some neat-looking pitting on the cocking knob
My nugget, and a battle kitten.
For corrosive ammo, it has to be a bit of a thorough process. You should be cleaning the old girls after every shoot, they deserve it.
>For a nugget
>Disassemble
>Run hot water through barrel
>Use a barrel brush, dipped in hoppes/ballistol/etc.
>Scrub till you feel good about it
>patch till you're happy
>wipe down all bolt pieces with a rag dampened by your favorite CLR
>patch dry, then oil.
all done.
