I don't live in a state where it's necessary, but I'd still like one. They can use a Remington 1100 shotgun stock. Some wood handguards and you've got something that look a like an early 1940's semiauto that takes modern AR accessories and calibers. What's not to like?

You have to use the proprietary "rat tail" carrier. However, the bolt and other BCG parts are the same. You can shoot any caliber as long as the appropriate bolt & upper fit the new carrier.

I LOVE THE AESTHETIC .I LOVE THE FEEL OF A RANCH RIFLE. MINI 14 IS NICE..AND NOW WE HAVE AN AR IN RANCH STYLE.

It works...though I think the stock needs a little more tweeking to be more ergo nomic and to clear the charging handle.

Can't really use normal AR sights...Ares needs to make a set of sights for a completely even railed upper, they have a gas block front dight fir their upper but nobody uses a stock Ares SCR upper.
