Love it. One of the best purchases I've made in my entire life
Gun: The Gun
Extremely size efficient 15+1 9mm and bridges the gap between a compact and fullsize without being too big to conceal carry.
Hands down without a doubt, Glock's best design.
Glock 17 is better

Why
>>31089312
Was my only gun for like 3 years. It's really great. Still haven't experienced any kind of malfunctiom.
Good gun for reasons stated above. It has decidedly meh-tier aesthetics.
>>31089312
It's a multi tool.
It will do a little of everything, but the master of none.
All in all good quality, but not god tier custom shop quality.
>>31089312
I own two. Thats all you need to know.
The Corolla of guns
>>31089992
That is one HOT opinion.
>>31089992
I think the G26 is sexy AF and a T H I C K little gun.
Three six mafia said something about it.
>>31089312
I felt betrayed when my gun mentor told me after 8 years of swearing by 1911's and XD's, told me he bought four glocks and the 19 is his bedside gun.
I'd buy one if I had the money even though I hate the grip angles. Just to say I own one.
>>31089920
17+1 and full frame for BIG MEATY CLAWS!
G19 is fine too though.
I CC a gen3. Aside from the extractor flinging brass at my face before I fixed it, I haven't had any problems. I kept mine stock except for trijicon night sights. A lot of people complain about the grip angle but I find it very comfortable and natural to shoot, but that's just me. Only malfunctions I've ever had were misfires due to shitty range ammo where the primer didn't go off
>>31089312
Definition of "meh" gun. Reliability greatly exagerated. And I used to have a 19.
However it is fun to see idiots put 800$ of accesories on their 500$ gun so they can have the illusion that it's great.
For the price and the mods available its basically the ar-15 of Handguns. Its an all around good gun but it doesnt do anything particularly great. If its your first gun its a solid choice and its very reliable.
Pros
Cost
Parts
Reliability
Ammo capacity
Cons
Nothing special
Ergonomics (varys person to person)
Its ugly
Mostly polymer
Not a 1911
>>31089312
It's the most boring fucking handgun in existence and owning one is an infallible indicator of one's shit taste.
>>31089312
Uncomfortable, ugly, unergonomic, high pointing, unambidextrous, awful sights and bad trigger.
Admittedly very reliable with good finish though.
>>31090335
>ar-15 of Handguns (in terms of modularity)
that title rightfully belongs to the 1911, faggot.
>>31089312
a gun so simple that even an idiot can use it, so only idiots use it.
>>31090361
buy one
https://youtu.be/Pt3vyK9ld_c?t=59
>>31090292
How'd you fix the face brass issue?
>>31090352
Denial strong, face it, the 1911 is obsolete
>>31090890
New extractor. Some guns are affected, some aren't. I would put about 500 rounds downrange first before getting it replaced and see if it acts up on you
>>31090907
Any specific kind of new one or did you just get a stock factory?
>>31089312
g19 is the handgun I'd love to have but probably never will.. =(
>>31090335
>not a 1911
>MFW
>>31090897
I made this just for you.
But I doubt you'll get the reference.
>>31090942
>emoticon
First off, kill yourself
Second, what's preventing you from getting one?
>>31089312
would love to have one but only have about 250 $$ saved it would need to be provate sale the local dealer fails me on paperwork every time and the other local dealer kick me out for saying a meme he didnt understand now he wont sale to me but yeah glock 19 would be perfect self defence type gun
Does /k/ like mine:)
>>31090981
look good does the supresser work good do you still need ear muff?
>>31090981
No, it's a glock
>>31090991
No suppressor at the moment just a threaded barrel for when the Hearing Protection Act passes so I can get another one. I'm tired of paying the ATF 200 dollars to take three months longer than they told me it was going to take to send me my goddamn tax stamp.
>>31090992
Then I suggest going to another thread my dude;)
If any gun could ever be considered more tool than entertainment, it'd be the g19
>>31090925
Glock will replace it for you under warranty
>>31089312
Not comfortable in my hands, prefer full size pistols.
>>31089312
>>31089312
>opinions
Sure, I'll give my opinion.
Doesn't mean every one'll agree though.
>$200 too much for a new one, and the police are pretty much noguns which means police trade ins are hit or miss in terms of condition
>shit Trigger with oddly okay Ergos, something people tend to disagree with
>good aftermarket, but that's like putting a new chandelier in a haunted house as Jeff foxworthy once said
>awful sights
>most PCCs use Glock mags so cross compatibility is usually fairly nice
>proprietary Glockrailz
>pig nose
>"perfection" (as long as you're willing to spend enough money to buy a second gun on aftermarket parts)
>lol Glocknade
>the entire community of fans
It's an okay gun that's touted as shit because it doesn't live up to what it's fans say about it and thus people get pissed that it's no better or worse than any other gun like no tomorrow.
I was gonna get one for a bit.
Then I realized I didn't want to be associated with the average 1911 bashing tacticool faggot that lives and breathes Glocks.
>>31091086
>I base my purchases on the actions of other users and how people perceive me
Holy shit that is depressing.
>>31091013
"opinions on glock 19"
You have a shitty gun, and I'm not going anywhere, my friend.
::::))))))))))=====))))))))))));;;;)));););););))))
>>31091086
>proprietary Glock railz
uhhhhhhhh, what?
>>31091134
He's a clueless idiot. The mystery has been solved.
>>31090969
I live in Brazil mate... you can only buy certain calibers. and you can't import weapons (unless being a collector, which i'll try to be one day)
everyone else (and that includes the police) can only buy Taurus (or imbel's 1911..)
>>31091191
Move
>>31091194
how difficult it would be to become a cop in USA? (I know that first you must be a usa citzen, and that might prove to be a difficult task atm, idk)
>>31091213
I don't know, I'm not a burger
Join FFL or something and move to Czech republic if you can't figure out anything else
>>31091125
He could be a woman, that'd make that kind of vapid mindset and obsession with peer-acceptance seem perfectly rationale
I have a Gen 3 and 4.
4 has better grip for longer shooting sessions.
Although I carry it (gen3) everyday I have dreams every night that i have to pull it and instead of going bang it just clicks.
scared the absolute piss out of me.
and just to piss yall off i love my 1911 too
>>31091125
I could have just bought one and never posted about it instead.
It's still kinda like saying "hey, I don't like gay people but because gay bars have beer a buck cheaper I'm going to them instead of a regular bar"
It's a fucking terrible idea. If you don't like the group surrounding something don't buy it or go to it or watch it. Simple as that.
>inb4 "wait, you don't?"
Still didn't want to bother with it.
>>31091134
It doesn't just use picatinny rails like literally every other gun on the market.
>>31091141
Get fucked.
>>31089312
Betty Gud
>>31091306
>It doesn't just use picatinny rails like literally every other gun on the market.
And they still take every kind of light, laser module, and other accessories meant to be mounted on a pistol just fine you fucking girl.
>>31089312
Do the MOS and regular slide versions share the same sights? I see them listed as different products on online sites.
>>31091306
>It's a fucking terrible idea. If you don't like the group surrounding something don't buy it or go to it or watch it. Simple as that.
>Other people's choices >>>> my own choices
seriously consider ending yourself.
>>31091306
>>31091086
Post tits pls. :^
>>31091306
>It doesn't just use picatinny rails like literally every other gun on the market.
Hey
>>31091213
Depends on the force you're looking to join. Local departments have lower standards in general than county or state which are in turn lower than federal. Some ”special” departments (E.g. Texas Rangers) are a whole other animal.
Either way for most departments you'll have to be a citizen, not a felon, be reasonably /fit/, and have an intelligence factor somewhere in the sweet spot that they look for; you can't be a complete retard, but if you score too high on the test at some departments they won't take you either because they feel there's too much turnover for brainy cops. Other restrictions may apply, results may vary.
>>31089312
Good enough
>>31089312
I got a gen 4 back in june and I find myself finger fucking it at least every other day. Her name is daisy :>
Boring in the best way possible.
