Hi mom!!!

Sorry, I couldn't he!p it.
But that's seriously what my 64 year old mother shoots.
Good firearm though.
Rifling looks clean, probably had 200 rounds through it.
Keep it loaded.
Keep it close.

>380
it's better than nothing.

Pretty good.

There's good defensive ammo.
I recommended it in a thread recently. Another anon claimed it was like, "an 800 dollar gun". So you did pretty damn good.

For the price, you did OK. Most newer guns in that price range have a lot of plastic and surplus pistols will have either a lot of wear on the finish like the hi power copies or be in a combloc caliber that may not be easy to find or cheap to shoot.

Not bad for a bitch gun....
First off, find some of this.

.380 I noticed, from smaller guns, isn't nearly as accurate as 9mm, but that full size gun should help compensate it.
For $400, I would have got a XD, FNP, Or Glock in a higher caliber, but Browning generally is higher value, but if it fits your specific taste, then it's worth the money.
I am personally not scared of recoil, and not a big fan of .380 since you need real expensive ammo to be effective, and it's not as effective as the next set of calibers with the most basic JHP. I have never shot a full sized .380, so if I shot that one, I might change my mind on it. Looks like a solid piece though.
That's a sweet looking gun, anon, and it sounds like the price was right. Nice grips and finish. Enjoy her!
Damn fine gun. No worries about the caliber, it will be fine. Remember all of the Clint Eastwood type black powder revolvers from around the civil war? Yeah, most of them didn't pack that kind of force, and many not that bullet size, and weren't half as reliable, and none of them had that capacity...but those guns are still legendary.
