(the Glock)
what would /k/ have to say about these pistols?
glock 19 gen 4
Walther ppq

Nice gun. If you get in there with some metal polish and shine up key contact areas, it improves dramatically. How do you like the ppq? I held one in a store and dry fired it but didn't care care for it as much as I thought I would.

This is now the resident Walther Thread

I love the PPQ its ergonomics are perfect for me and it has the smoothest trigger ive ever used. I have not used the Glock yet. I will next weekend. however, Im not expect it to feel better then the PPQ.

Walther yassss
I really like my PPQ
My only issues with it is that it falls somewhere in the awkward space between full size and compact, and that the 5 inch model doesn't come in a M1 configuration.
I still occasionally carry it and use it in competition just fine however.
Also does anyone know if you can slap a 5 inch slide on a M1 frame?

WALTHER IST DIE BESTE
>>31078923
I can verify 110% this is possible and more

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
>>31078949
I work at a gun shop, you end up fucking around a lot
>>31078923
Is he okay?
>>31078990
Walther is never not okay
Walther is always best
>>31078938
Have you shot this abomination safely?
>>31078990
The PPQ worked out fine. Though the grit caused some marring on the trigger that made the trigger pull just a little worse it still has a good clean break.
Never shot a Walther, Glocks are ok.

Didn't shoot it, cycled it. Decocker wont work but it clicks, extracts, and ejects (weakly, about 2-3 feet). The spring is pretty stiff but its functional.
>>31078691
i'm more in favor of the ppq my self.
Have a PPX and love it.
>>31078691
best glock suppressor sight? I like the proctor y notch sight, but it won't co-witness with an RMR on my mos.
>>31078691
Trash.
I wish Walther would come out with a subcompact/compact version of the PPQ. It's a little big and I still carry it on occasion but a shortened slide and grip version that holds 10-12 rounds would be awesome.

Walther P99c
>9x19mm = 12 rounds
>.40 S&W = 10 rounds
>Superior M1 release
>Superior DA trigger
>Superior SA trigger
Either this or either PPS make excellent choices.
>>31078691
You got the wrong PPQ. And kloks suck.
>>31081154
Those extended magazines are hideous and your apex is dumb
pistol was fine
>>31081154
nice board m8
I loved everything about my PPQ except shooting it. I just could not make the grip work for me.
Broke my heart to sell it but it tied up too much money to keep.
Is the P99 grip any different?
>>31081197
Grip is the same in shape and dimension, just has a different texture. Better for CC in my opinion, less aggressive and snaggy, plus more comfy.
>>31081167
Oh it was fine. Now it's better.
>>31081178
Y-you too
>>31081197
What was wrong with the grip? The bumpy finger grooves? If so I have the same problem but I make do with the PPQ.
If I could take the Sig P320's grip module on the PPQ it'd be perfect - no finger grooves and better texturing for maintaining a hold.

Watch out how much you polish the surfaces, they're only plated.
