Usually, when it comes to many things in life, this is a good idea.
But when something like a shitty soft holster + safety-on-trigger gun is the equation, doing so might put you in the hospital and you end up with medical bills and whatever legal bullshit depending on your location.

This is injection molded plastic but it's basically the same thing. This alongside a Raven is easily the best holster brands you can get.
