Are you talking damage per round, or damage per reload?
Revolvers generally sling around larger chunks of metal, however magazine fed pistols will almost always be able to sling two or even three times as many chunks of metal.
Define more damage OP, at face value either will kill most things you shoot at if you can actually hit with them.

A .22 revolver is nothing compared to a .460 Rowland 1911.
As while a .22 Walter ppq is nothing compared to a .454 Cassul revolver.

I think it really depends on how hard you hit them with it but revolvers tend to get wood grips don't think polymer is as battle tested for bludgeoning people as alloy and wood have.

given the same cartridge and barrel length. The revolver will do less damage. Since the cartridge isn't sealed with the barrel, some gases escape and result in a lower muzzle velocity.

revolvers take out more HP, especially if they have more recoil, and are louder

a glock, like on CS:GO doesn't take out much HP unless if you headshot
