I actually haven't read the changelog, but fleet battles now allow for bigger missions and everyone in it get the bonus not just the guy who took the mission.

And i'll say as much as, once you can take on lineships, these battles are really worth it.

Other than that, Fireships, new upgrades like medkits, crew management, personal AI fleets are back aswell, so you can command several ships if you have the dosh and leadership for it.
Some new ships including some nice low level ones, like an american frigate and a gunboat, which is a tiny ship smaller than the cutter, but it has a very big cannon and is so low in the water most line ships can't hit it at all.

A lot of pirates joined other factions, after they started infighting, since pirates can attack each other, they basically fucked themselves up.

Though the pirates that remains are outragously aggressive, they tried capturing a second rate comming out of port royale with 4 renomees and 2 connies.

Been playing non stop STALKER Call of Pripyat.

Arsenal Overhaul, Atmosfear and Absolute Nature, game is so damn pretty and is really fun.

Though it's so annoying trying to get the golden ending because I can't escort these dumb bastards to the choppers as one of them just stands in the base and refuses to move, and the game seems to count him as dead, so it's impossible to get the good ending slide for pripyat since this one idiot just stands where he started and won't go anywhere.

After redoing the hospital mission twenty times to get them all to survive it's really damn frustrating.

Anyone check out the squad vehicle update yet?

Of course as soon as I talk about it I figure out how to resolve it.

Start the evacuation mission as fast as possible, before the NPCs have a chance to go sit down, then they behave like they should.

Experiencing the full golden ending of CoP after all the relentless misery and brutality of the series is the most glorious feeling of catharsis I've ever experienced in a game.

And it is pretty fun, personally I play on the Veteran difficulty, second highest. Highest difficulty feels more frustrating than fun but that's just me.

It's about the only series I've ever played that makes me feel truly scared and anxious, because it lets you be strong enough to overcome challenges, but vulnerable enough where one fuckup will still kill you. And it really rewards careful planning and clever players.

Like the time I beat a small pack of invisible, super strong mutants by running into shallow water and watching for the ripples they made as they tried to get at me.

You don't seem to understand how drastically different the code is between Lomac and DCS. Everything has been changed. Just because an F-15 is in one and the other doesn't mean they are remotely similar in any way any more than flying the P-51 in Jane's WW2 Fighters is like flying the P-51 in DCS

Yes it does, if you are in a big ship and you sail into the wind you are going to full stop if you don't manage your masts individually, in which case you can use the wind to push you when the rudder gives up, and do a slow turn around the wind.
