i think it's too heavy for it's calibre but it is reliable. I liked the m4/16 variants when i got to play around with them moslty because they were so much lighter

Literally a Swedish version of the FN FNC but made for Cold Weather. Would have been great if they chose the Galil variant they made than the FNC Variant.

Carried one for 9 months, I guess its fine.
Its just as good as any other 5.56 assault rifle. Just a bit heavy.

And now they are getting worn out to the point that some of them get constant jams, no matter how clean they are. We were supposed replace them a few years ago but the military so damn underfunded that they cant even afford boots anymore (That's not a joke).

Our armed forces is so underfunded that despite the fact that its outdated and jams a lot we still need money to buy other things than new rifles. My company regularly traveled in rental cars as there was no money to buy new vehicles.

Admittedly our trainers did that too inna FDF, but it was pretty much just 1-2 cars during larger excercises. Are you talking about the entire company using rentals?

Usually not the whole company but one or two platoons during larger excercises. (A large excercise in Sweden beeing one with a company or more)

Damnit I miss the good old days when we hat excercises with 30 000 people regularly.

This is not the Socialists fault. The right wing partys cut it down just as much when they were in power.

Every damn government we have had since the mid 90s has had the objective that the military should be destroyed in the most expensive way possible. They are not even saving money, they are just not getting anything for their money. Our last prime minister even said on TV that national defence is not important at all.

The ones I had jamed all the time. Had to change rifle three times. And it wasnt just me beeing retarded, most people in our company had similar storys.
