College fag here. Me and my family are moving to the US mainland soon and I'm getting a say in where we go because of college.

What state has great colleges for business and/or law, is a good place to live in and has decent gun laws? I really want to be able to go to college, conceal carry a pistol on campus and have a Galil at home.

You're walking around with your prized AR on your chest after work at night. You stop into the liquor store to buy some beer on your drive home. Just then, a dindu walks into the store with his Glawk Fowty in the waistband of his basketball shorts with the intention of robbing the place of all their money and Hennessy.

Who the fuck do you think is getting popped first?
>>
>>31046753
pretty simple. Have your CC and you can conceal or open, also CC caries over to a fair amount of other states, and the only waiting period is 60 days between applying for CC and getting it

I am mad, but for different reasons. I wouldn't mind carrying while camping, or being able to throw my rifle in a scabbard over my back when I ride my motorcycle to the range. But if you carry in public, you are announcing to the world "I am armed. Shoot me first, then move on to the nogunz." You do you senpai, that's what freedom's all about. When Jamal is done with you and he's casing the register, I'll have my gun in my waistband to defend myself.

In Texas the Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio areas are growing pretty fast. Houston was okay until the nig nogs from Katrina showed up. Now north Houston is the only nice area. Austin is still weird as hell and very lib, but not as bad as some places. UT also went to libshit. A&M is still A&M. Gun laws are rated at an A, CCL isn't too hard to get, but good luck finding public land to go shooting.

Also steak and BBQ.
>>
>>31046824

>>31046793

Same. I'm planning for military academies or Texas A in the south to move in.
>>
>>31046852
also no restrictions on high capacity clipazines and can buy any "assault rifle" type weapon no problem. really is a sleeper of a great state. honestly the only downside to georgia is a bad allergy season and the heat. then of course dindus if you live near atlanta
>>
>>31046851

I've been to Florida a lot before and all I see is nignogs, Puerto Ricans, old people and sometimes Indians, so I guess it's not that different.

>>31046860

If you can get into a military academy, you are pretty much set for life if you can handle the lifestyle. Either way, I wish you the best of luck.

>>31046867

No restrictions? Fuck yeah, that's great. I don't mind the heat, and I know it can get pretty cold in the winter over there, so I don't mind it either way.
>>
>>31046879
yeah my buddy has a double drum for his AR. and winter gets to be in the low twenties at the coldest, however winters are really rainy and windy. where are you coming from?
>>
Objectively speaking?

North Carolina and Virginia. UVA has the best undergrad business school, but it's in a state that flirts becoming blue. North Carolina has both UNC and Duke, which are well known for finance and consulting. If you're interested in going into investment banking or someone like management consulting, those two schools would do you well.

Ultimately, it depends on what you want to major in.
>>
>>31046879
Less Indians. Like a lot less. Ricans are rare as well. Old people? Yeah along the coast you'll see them.
>>
Its funny no one says Colorado any more. CSU has an excellent CoB and the gun laws haven't changed i have ived here my whole life and nothing has changed except the cost of living. No one enforces the mag limit. every store sells them and you can open carry here if you choose. CSU is a CC campus as well
>>
>>31046879
Georgia fag here, completely skipped over the college question. UGA and GA Tech are both amazing schools. if you dont plan on something that big then maybe UNG is a good choice since theyre in the mountains up north. If you dont mind being in libtard central then objectively GA State is a great school
>>
>>31046902

As a corollary, it also depends on your grades and high school performance. UVA and Duke tend to be very selective. UNC is easier to get in to IF you are an in-state student (there's a hard limit on 13% of the class being outside of NC). Keep in mind though that you will still need to apply to the business schools once you get in to college, so if you want to slack, you may want to pick an easier route.
>>
>>31046852
Live in Northern Arizona or the mountains (like Pine Top). Tucson and Phoenix are definitely too fucking hot though
>>
>>31046914
>mags capped at 15

>>31046902

>>
>>31046902
VA has good laws but the problem is you'll be in VA. OP says he'll be going to college and all the college towns here are fucking ass (and full of niggers and refugees)

Puerto Rico.

>>31046902

Honestly, I haven't got the faintest clue. I'm currently starting my second year of my History major, but I really want to combine with a practical degree so I don't become a useless piece of shit after college. I have about a semester or two to decide what college I'm going to in the US and it's honestly hard to choose.

>>31046914

Colorado, huh? It's definitely a state to consider, especially since pot is legal there, and I heard that the car scene is actually nice. But if what >>31046931 is true, then I have to be wary of it.

>>31046918

I'll take all of those into consideraition, especially UGA. I've heard it's actually pretty fucking cool.

>>31046925

I'm not a new college student, I'm just about to start my second year in college and have a 2.90 GPA (I did really shitty last semester because I was planning on enlisting, but it didn't happen.). Hopefully, I can hike it up to 3.50+ this semester. Do I stand a chance?

>>31046935

>full of refugees

Oh come on, I was just starting to like VA.
>>
>>31046933
http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/business

Yeah, well, as a business school, they're pretty much the best in the south.

>>31046935

Yeah. That's why I would probably stick to NC. Virginia is rapidly becoming NOT Southern. And UNC actually has a gun club, so that's pretty decent.
>>
>>31046945
A 2.9 will definitely not help, but that depends on the school and the context. Keep in mind that most business schools need you to apply in sophomore or junior year with all prerequisites completed--and those are often quite a few. Transferring and business don't often mesh super well.

Also what college are you currently at?
>>
>>31046965

Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. It's average.
>>
>>31046954
UVa is full of disgusting foreigners. Whites are an absolute minoritys since they seem to only let in Asians. A lot of Chinese from overseas too. The people here suck too, a bunch of preppy cunts, who all seem to have been given the 'my daddy's a lawyer starter pack'. I hate the Chinese because they all cheat, ruining the grading curve.
This is from my view as a graduate student, so I don't get out much, let alone visit the undergrad haven that is the corner.
>>
>>31046986
Ok guy
>>
>>31046984
A hard average. I think I'd say you're best off in UGA's business school. It's not the best one in the south by any means, and the school isn't super selective, but you'll get a pretty damn good degree. Besides. It's mostly about the MBA anyway.

About cars and shit, we do have a inspection process, and it will take too long to explain it all. But it restricts rust and exaust tones. And lifting your car is restricted to "utility vehicles" like trucks and jeep wranglers.

Anything much south of Concord is part of the greater Boston area real estate bubble. Unfortunately that's where the economy is too. Expect to shell out a fair bit compared to rural areas, although of course nothing compared to Boston or NYC themselves.

No sweat. Protip from a local: Boston has great public transit (the MBTA) and parking can cost $50+ for a day. There are buses that run from Dover, Portsmouth, Concord, Manchester, and Nashua to downtown Boston and Logan Airport. They're the best way to do getaway trips to the city for a day or to get to the airport.

Virginia, we got some of the best colleges in the nation. For buisiness we got JMU and UVA. Now you won't be able to CC on campus but you can own your galil and CC pretty much everywhere else (CC permits are stupid easy to get and you can open carry without a permit legally in VA).
>>
>>31053192
Boston's road system has been compared to an MC Escher painting or a Lovecraftian nightmare creature from beyond the normal four dimensions of space and time, and parking will cost you 3-4 times as much as bus tickets. I GREW UP in the area and don't drive in Boston if I don't have to.

So, there's actual race tracks and a good car scene there? And how are the colleges there?

Can confirm, uncle is cop and deals with heroin all the time. Shooting incidents are going up too, last month there were around a dozen in his city where cops were the targets.

Yeah, called congregational citizenship. Grants them the right to vote but not the same rights.

Go aheqd and try to buy. Fill out a form 4473. Say you are eligible to purchase fitearms in the USA, get jailed for lying on a 4473.

Congress doesnt want you changos having guns, just your dirty vote.

College wise, OSU is great for foosball and good majors, OU is pretty good with variety, UC is alright if you can deal with hipsters and liberals.
The car scene is varied as fuck, imports and new muscle in the cities, rice and diesel bro dude redneck parts in the country. Not too hostile.
Just as the last guy said, Do not live in the major cities, they're liberal as fuck. I live near Cincy and hate that it's little San Francisco right now.

Buying new mags is capped at 15, and apparently you can circumvent that. You can still own mags over 15.

OC is gay, and for try-hards.

The chambered round in vehicle claim is also Bullshit.

>By law private sales must include a background check

I don't know what constitutes a licensed dealer, but it is a guy with an FFL license. I once had my background check done five streets done from my own in a neighbors house doing a buy on gunbroker.

Colorado's isn't great when it comes to firearms, but stop making it sound shitty.

We can own firearms, as we're protected by the same rights under the constitution as stated by the Circuit Corr and Supreme Court (Only issue is shit gun laws because the local government is afraid of another 1950s insurgency thanks to the 2000 Firearms Act). Not to mention there are states that honor the Puerto Rican CCW permits.Try again, Cletus.

1. Puerto Ricans can't vote for president while residing in the island. However, I think that changes when one moves to a federated US state, like Virginia or New Hampshire. That said, most of us still live on the island, rendering your dumb comment about how they just want our vote not only irrelevant, but also disgustingly incorrect.

2. It's called statutory citizenship, not congregational citizenship. If you look up the congregational variant, nothing relevant pops up. If you look up statutory citizenship, you will immediately find relevant and informative links related to my place of origin, Puerto Rico.

3. The Jones Act of 1917 gives us full U.S Citizenship if we were to reside in the United States, but some rights are nullified by the fact that we live in an unincorporated territory, hence all the drama and confusion.

I could go on, but to sum it up, it's pretty much what >>31055086 said. I'm also really tired and I'm about to leave this thread to get some sleep.

List some good colleges.

Thanks for the info.
