Sadly i think youre a bit late to the good surplus game, nuggets are too fucking expencive, SKSs not worth their price. Honestly take it from me anon, as someone who spent a fuckload on random guns, just build a nice PSA M4, i regret not doing so when i had the money.

They'll work, but it'll be nearly impossible to find a decent one at $150-200 and pretty damn hard to find a shitty one at that price

Just buy a maverick 88, and get the one with the shorter barrel. As a home defense gun it will be better anyways
