The guns are an investment to him, nothing more. That's why he'd only ever post about some neat gun after he just bought it, and then never talk about it again. He clearly never knew much more than the basics about whatever he bought, only very rarely disassembled them for a thread, and clearly only bought things for the sake of buying them/mentioned investment opportunity. A very telling picture was his mancave with all of "his" guns leaning against the walls, with several weapon posters hanging up that had all of the guns depicted crossed out in red marker. He doesn't really like guns, and it's painfully obvious when you read his posts.
