My Flandre built Bulgarian AK74 eats only 7n6 and I don't clean it that much. I just make sure it is well covered in CLP and kept in my safe with the dehumidifier. Which what I also do with my Nugget that eats Yugo surplus, and the CZ52 that eats Bulgarian surplus. None of those guns have had a spot of rust show up on them yet.

And the judge set precedent for any ammo to be banned if it is capable of armor piercing, not if it is just "pistol ammo".

It was tossed because the plaintiff did not provide sufficient evidence of 7n6 not being armor piercing, even though it is rifle ammo because no pistol exists.

Even if we got fresh imports, prices wouldn't drop by that much. Either you got in on the ak-74 train when the getting was good, or you didn't.
There's no way I'm using corrosive ammo in my gun if the price difference doesn't add up to significant dollars per shooting session. That cleaning takes time, and my time is more valuable than $2-3 since I don't normally dump a ton of ammo. I've got too many other calibers to dedicate a lot of time to any one gun.
