are there any decent /k/-approved videogames that feature modern or WW2-era naval warfare?

Battlestations: Midway and Battlestations: Pacific were pretty awesome for console games, back when the servers were active online play was great as well.

FTD doesnt really have any WWII content othet than the Dangerous Waters campaign that only lets you play the Americans.
Building WWII ships in the regular campaign just puts you against ships with 1500mm cannons
World of Warships
there is alwys wows which is kinda fun, but it has a very arcade-ish approach to it. Sadly cruisers are very powerful in the meta right now. pretty much always 50% of all ships in a match
Pacific Storm: Allies

Project Nevada adds a good amount of weapons on its own. I also use WMX Modern Weapons and some of Millenia's guns.

>Not having a 2000mm cannon surrounded by drills.
>Not building a flying steel skull that shoots lasers out of its eye sockets.
It may not be "realistic", but it's a ton of fun.
Besides, APS are capped at 500mm, which is in the neighborhood of most naval guns.

Oh i never said it wasn't fun, i love building ships in that game, it just doesnt fit the WWII criteria properly

What game? What does FTD stand for?
>>31017195
From the Depths, it's a game where shipbuilding goes very in depth, it's a block placing game (although there are corner pieces and parts that aren't blocks) so shipbuilding actually means building the ship piece by piece, the guns are also built from scratch, so you can build a gun that fits specifically on your ship in a very specific way (hell you could probably build a 5 cannon turret with 500mm autocannons).
It doesn't really fit very well in a WWII setting as there's shields, lasers and such things, but if you want to you can definitely make a proper WWII naval battle of your own and even make your own fictional WWII era looking ships.
Pic related is a cruiser i built a couple of days ago.

I wish we still had CMANO threads. It's great if you don't take it too seriously.
The one where an Iowa had to try and fight off over 20 Granits was great.
