Ideas for a magnified optic for 5.56 from 0-300 that's relativley cheap? I've been looking at the vortex crossfire 2-7x32. Thoughts?

I too am looking into buying optics for an AR DMR I'm currently building. These are the choices I'm considering thus far...
Red Dots
> Bushnell Trs-25 ~$85 (For cheap build)
> Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot ~$165 (Might go with this)
> Vortex Sparc ~$175
> Eotech 512 ~$420
> Aimpoint Pro ~$420
Magnified Scopes
> Primary Arms Mil Dot ~$220
> Bushnell Legend Ultra HD ~$250
> Vortex Viper 3-9 ~$300
> Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10x44 ~$400 (Going with this for my DMR)

The Vortex viper line would be my choice. I had the 1-4x on my 3 gun rifle before I upgraded to the 1-6 Razor from vortex.
I beat the hell out of that viper dumping it in barrels when transitioning to different guns and it never lost zero. Get a good mount like an American Defense Manufacturing and you'll be set.

>0-300
Zero? So you want it to be able to perform in CQB distances? I'd go with something that has a 1 power magnification on the low end instead of 2 or 3.
I have a 2.5-7 on my 22 and trying to do snap drills with both eyes open makes me feel drunk.

No specific recommendations, but I'm going to shill for samplelist.com, which has floor models of a lot of optics from different companies. They have minor dings and cosmetic scrapes, but work and have a pretty decent price reduction.
Obligatory Strike Eagle recommendation

Ibgot their original 3x and a 4x in 762 bdc. Both are great

Can I see your whole rifle? We have the same handguard and I am thinking about buying that exact scope.

20" barrel

Oh hey I remember you. You didn't have the handguard yet when I was last on here. That thing turned out sweet.

You have any pros/cons for it?
