Chinese stealth jet design is superior to
American design. Most industrial experts in
Russia/China, outside of the Americano Sphere
acknowledge this.

The Main problem is the engine.
The Chinese Domestic WS-series isn't reliable or advanced enough yet to outcompete the Russian/American models.

So they are currently running on Russian Engines.

The F22 is how old now? Over a decade since being fully in service? So the J-20 is about 15-20 years behind?

China will always lag behind America because the Chinese cheat too much and aren't as creative. That is not to say the Chinese are stupid or bad. They just suck compared to white Americans when you look at everything holistically. Being narrowly better at a select spatial math skills doesn't make up for all the other racial shortcomings of the Chinese (less honest, less creative, more risk averse, more introverted, and more).

When all three Eastern Asian countries have their stealth planes, China, Japan, and Korea, everyone knows that Japan's will be by far the best, followed by Korea's, and finally China's.

>"Tiny canards, like little extra limbs, protrude from the forward half of the fuselage to add more aerodynamic stability. This appears to be an afterthought, as the canards reduce stealth, which means China still has work to do to make a near-undetectable aircraft comparable to American designs — perhaps even Russian ones as well.

Another problem is that it's underpowered considering its size and the fact that it wields twin AL-31F engines. Those engines are Russian and just a bit too weak for an aircraft that must balance speed and agility, which the J-20 appears to strive to do. Then there's the electronics and fire-control systems, both areas where Chinese innovations are lacking."

See? Even your own sources agree that the chinks are bad ant that the J-20 is trash.

Not that guy but I study at a university where we have a lot of Chinese students and a lack of initiative and imagination is a problem that you'll find in next to all of them.
>course in Human-Machine interaction and interfacing
>prof hands out sheets of paper with some problems related to his class for us to solve
>last question is a picture of a dashboard in a car with the caption "How would YOU improve this interface?"
>cue all chinks heading to the professors office, asking for the pages in the books to find the correct answer or asking him what the correct answers are
>prof tries to explain that thee is no correct answer, that it's just something for them to reflect upon, for them to use their imagination
>chinese students unable to grasp the concept and won't leave, prof has to point out some imagined flaw in the design of the dashboard, all chinks write it down exactly word for word and leave happy
>paper was completely voluntary, non graded, just as exercise
No matter who you speak to and no matter what they study, it's all the same. Chinese people can not imagine something not written in the curriculum as correct and the word of the professor is law above all else.

Somehow I doubt that China will suddenly shine like an innovative star and polish their stolen tech plane into gold in two years.
That's the problem with stealing data, you don't build up institutional knowledge on how to make the stuff yourself or how to improve upon the design.

Not that guy either, but I teach at the university level so here goes.

For Chinese undergrads, it's an adjust!sent. Early on they look for rote answers like the other poster said. By grad school they're used to America and creativity is no longer a problem. For the ones from Taiwan that's never the case. Except much harder working. For the ones born in America, they're exactly like American students, for 3rd generation immigrants; that includes laziness and all. The ones off the boat also don't have the sjw bullshit, which is refreshing. My colleagues from China are hard core, so far beaten out only by Indians.

And the hot ones are absolutely, shockingly hot.

It's not race, it's not even culture I think. It's that communism sucks the life out of people. Repeatedly pounding them with six inches of Freedom gives them whatever communism took away and suddenly they're top performers. Much like Europeans and Indians who come here.

That first anon must have been typing from the crawlspace of mom's double wide, because his racial theories have zero connection to reality.

>>
>>31001780
>Why
If it makes you feel better you can always say it is that they got their hands on parts of the F-117 and also totally drained L-M for data on F-35. This was on the news a while ago now.
>>
>>31001944

You are giving China way too much credit.

China's engine production is nowhere near where the US was in 1991 and there's absolutely no possibility they will have been producing F119 knock offs for four years in 2026.

>>31001780
Because it just is.

Also, that meme about China lacking in sensor and electronics technology is dumb as shit. If there's anything China's good with, it's microelectronics and radar simply because this field does not require the deep fundamentals of material science on which advanced engine production is based on. Microelectronics technology can very simply be gained by learning from dual-use technology acquired via manufacturing those things for the world market.
Engine technology, especially the super-alloys for turbofan hot-section blades are technological crown jewels that are protected by evey manufacturer and unlikely be licenced.

The J-20 is actually a pretty advanced sensor platform because of that, equipped with GaN AESA and multiple long band sensors, as well as EOTS/EODAS.
>>
>>31001939
>China, Japan, and Korea, everyone knows that Japan's will be by far the best, followed by Korea's, and finally China's.

Kek. What projections.

Korea's stealth fighter isnt even stealth, as it lacks internal weapons bays and is only a semi-stealth fighter of the 4.5+ gen.

Japan's "stealth fighter" is first and foremost a negotiation tool to pressure the US to give them a better joint production and technology deal with the F-35. And failing that, it is a demosntrator of the size of a trainer jet. The Japanese F-3 isnt projected to arrive before 2030 - seeing past Japanese "successes" like the pretty shitty F-2 Fatty Falcon, and the general state of the Japanee aerospace industry, which is even worse in terms of corruption and cronyism than China's or the US' is, it appears that 2030 is also unrealistic. Make it 2040.

And in 2040, China will already have entire divisions worth of 6th generation hypersonic drone fighters.

Side arrays are more or less an anachronism from the Cold War days when the tech wasn't considered advanced enough for it.

Look at the F-22 for example, it was originally planned to have side arrays back in the 80s and 90s and the nose cone has more than enough room for the original dimensions of what became the AN/APG-77. Now it's more or less a 'well we have the space for it, I guess we can put them in as originally planned for, it can't hurt.'

Why do the vatniks and the chinks put those there? There is a reason to why all long band radars are huge as fuck, without proper aperture size you won't get shit worth of info.
Look at the one used on the S-400, they didn't make it that big because it was fun, that is about the minimum size needed to get any useful data whatsoever and even then it's more surveillance than tracking.
>>
>>31002983
Neither is stupid, a rotating main array for example has the disadvantages of being slower / not being able to scan a wide FOV instantaneously. A rotating array also makes RCS management tougher, which is why no stealth aircraft has one, and lastly a rotating array still has a smaller FOV. Likewise though, mechanically gimballed / rotated AESAs generally give a power advantage without having to spend millions for large side arrays.

Because they're not.
China has a tendency to make a prototype and pretend to have a fleet, and take some stock footage of said prototype functioning well and pretend it's a standard military training exercise.
A bit like North Korea saber-rattling about their nukes and the success of their missiles, which they can basically launch about a half mile before things start to go to shit. The difference is China COULD excel militarily with significant investment which they can probably afford, but it hasn't had the will, innovation, or engineering expertise to make it happen.

Basically, as long as the canards are inline with the wings (perfect frontal aspect, the canards being limited to only the control angles of the ailerons) They dont add to RCS.

Start changing the angle of the radar (not perfect front, from below, from above, anything but perfect front) the canards to add to RCS. If the canards move out of phase with the ailerons (i.e, doing their job), they add to RCS, depending on the angle significantly.

No, actually. It looks like they are slightly more harmed by Affirmative Action only because most figures don't separate jewish whites from non-Jewish whites. Non-jewish, non-hispanic whites are the most disadvantaged by affirmative action. Basically at Harvard, jews are 25% of the population when by merit they should be 6-10% (they are 2% of the pop before you go "but the jews are so smart"). This screws the white numbers drastically. Sometimes hispanic whites aren't separated either, which further distorts the numbers.

This still doesn't take into account cheating or creativity. Historically, white men are by far the most creative demographic, dwarfing all other races in scientific discoveries and accomplishments. Asians, especially Chinese, are well documented cheaters. There are literally dozens of studies and articles on this. Chinas scientific community is rife with fraud. Asian students cheat on standard tests frequently (Reuters just did a write up on this). When you look at plagiarism in the US, Chinese last names are disproportionately found.

No one trusts the IQ studies in China because everyone knows that they don't get representative samples of the population. The numbers you see would be akin to studying IQ in San Francisco and only testing kids at private schools in Palo Alto.

No, it isn't. Read the article. Jews are about 2% of the population and make up about 6% of super high achieving students. They make up 25% of the Ivy League. This is because of jewish affirmative action through the use of quotas. This is verified in many ways. Unz goes through several. Here are a couple of the points.

1. The proportion of jewish students at Ivy League schools never decreases, it only has increased. This is a statistical abnormality. You would expect more jews one year and less jews another. It is always the same or more going back thirty years. (The one exception is Princeton where it recently dropped below 10%. A very public Jewish campaign succeed it raising it back up to 13%. Again, jews are 2% of the population and 6% of high achieving students)

2. During this same period of time the rate of jewish achievement has dropped dramatically. So jews simply aren't as smart as the were, yet they keep making up more of the Ivy League. See the graph. This is likely due to out marriages (half Ashkenazi kids are dumber than full kids) and orthodox jews are dumber and have more kids (dysgenic).

3. The proportion of jewish students at similar institutions varies widely. This is what you would expect with quotas. See the graph here >>31005239
Different schools have different quotas. Some, like Cal Tech, don't have any quotas at all as it only uses objective admissions criteria. 6% Jews right now. It was much higher when jews were smarter.

So, no it really is the jews. They have guaranteed themselves affirmative action at select schools. It is mathematically undeniable.

This is off topic. I apologize to the other thread readers.

It does.

Daddy went to Yale, son has a much easier time of getting into Yale.

Daddy was Jewish, son is likely Jewish.

Jews were much more academically dominant right during the post war period, and filled up elite schools by merit.

Now they have more competition from the Asians, but legacy is still keeping them in the elite schools.
>>
>>31007165
No, it doesn't. You would have to adjust for how many jews went to Yale thirty years ago. It was less then, so 20%. So jews should make up 20% of legacy admits. You claim this is 10%-30% of each class. So, jewish legacy admits should only be 2 to 6% of each class. Given that jews make up 6% of high achieving students, a 2-6% boost only gets one to 8-12% jews. Yale has 26% jews. How do you think this works?

This is why China will always be behind the US. It is incontrovertible that Chinese scientists plagiarize at tremendously higher rates than American scientists.

Your reaction to thousands of Chinese cheating on the SAT is telling to. Everyone knows it occurs. When you point it out to a Chinese person this is how they react. They blame other people. They blame "pressure to succeed". They never admit that cheating is wrong and is a problem in China.

This is why the Chinese planes will always lag behind American planes.

The Japanese don't seem to have the same problems with cheating, even though the pressure to succeed in Japan is even higher. Why is that? The Japanese think they are racially superior. They might be. It is actually impossible to completely separate biology and culture. The question is also irrelevant. The Chinese are cheaters, regardless of the reasons why, and that is the reason Chinese planes will never be as good as American planes.

You can check the data yourself. It is similar to an investigative report at a newspaper.

Here is more evidence. The proportion of jewish students at Harvard has slightly increased since the 1960's. The number of Phi Beta Kappa jewish students has dropped dramatically since the 1960's. Currently, jews are 26% of Harvard and only make up 11% of Phi Beta Kappas. Meaning that jews at Harvard are on average dumber than non jews. This yet again is rock solid confirmation that jews get affirmative action at Harvard.

This graph >>31008855 in conjunction wth this graph >>31005239 probably shows whites being smarter than asians at Harvard. Whites are 18% at Harvard. Asians are 16%. Whites are 54% of Phi Beta Kappas. Asians are 34% of Phi Beta Kappas. This shows both groups being disproportionately likely to to get the honor (smartest demographics without a doubt), but whites are significantly more so. There is the unknown race problem (12%), so the later isn't definitive, but it is highly probable. Almost all of the unknown race students would have to be white and not jewish for this not to be the case. Whites at Harvard appear to be a smarter demographic than asians at Harvard.

Another interesting point when looking at this graph is that asians, whites, and jews make up 99% of the Phi Beta Kappas at Harvard. Including all the unknowns, they only make up at most 72% of the Harvard student body. So the remaining 28% of Harvard's student body, which includes mostly blacks and hispanics, comprise only 1% of the students who get Phi Beta Kappa.

Harvard basically has three levels of students, and the academic difference between each level is huge.

1. Whites and Asians
2. Jews
3. Blacks and Hispanics

Right and it took us 5+ years to recover, the Chinese property inflation bubble is bigger and still growing. You have whole cities that are nearly void of inhabitants because they are priced so high no one can afford to live there. Investors are banking on the sales of those still empty properties. The wealthy see this and understand whats coming hence the diaspora of China's affluent citizens and outflow of cash. Good luck buddy, I just hope when it pops, the rest of us can ride it out. You'll be fucked, your authoritarian government will really have to crack the whip at that point.
>>
>>31011291
Detection range is heavily dependent on antenna aperture. An array like the S-400's is orders of magnitude larger than what you could fit in the J-20's leading edge. Either you have negligible broadcast / detection range and have some ability to aim an array, or you have an omnidirectional antenna (with geolocation via TOA) and decent sensitivity like on the F-35.

Dude there was no Jewish conspiracy angle.

He was responding to the point about Asians being most disadvantaged by affirmative action, and saying that they are, in fact, not. The point about the Jews was that, unlike other whites, they DO get to take advantage of affirmative action (I guess you could call that a conspiracy if you want) so it skews the numbers to make it seem like asians are most disadvantaged.
