If there's anything China's good with, it's microelectronics and radar simply because this field does not require the deep fundamentals of material science on which advanced engine production is based on. Microelectronics technology can very simply be gained by learning from dual-use technology acquired via manufacturing those things for the world market.
Engine technology, especially the super-alloys for turbofan hot-section blades are technological crown jewels that are protected by evey manufacturer and unlikely be licenced.

The J-20 is actually a pretty advanced sensor platform because of that, equipped with GaN AESA and multiple long band sensors, as well as EOTS/EODAS.

This shows both groups being disproportionately likely to to get the honor (smartest demographics without a doubt), but whites are significantly more so. Another interesting point when looking at this graph is that asians, whites, and jews make up 99% of the Phi Beta Kappas at Harvard.
