22 charger pistol for 3 gun match? pros, cons, what do you think
>not centerfire
>no rimfire class
>>30998560
Pros: lightweight, low recoil.
Cons: too small of a caliber to be permitted for three gun.
>>30998560
what 3gun division lets you shoot 22?
>>30998560
What rimfire 3 gun competitions are there?
>>30998560
Quit now kiddo.
outlaw open allows 22

it is 3gun so there's outlaw matches everywhere... but yeah outside of local clubs you're gonna want 9mm at a minimum.

there's usually a blanket minimum caliber. 20 ga, .22 centerfire for rifles (so 5.45 and .223 are cool), and 9mm, with obvious exceptions for Heavy Metal/Heavy Metal Tactical.
that being said, the local club match that was my first taste of 3gun had .22LR as a division. it was its own separate one, and the whole thing was geared for beginners (though people did show up with race guns of course). very much a "run what you bring" type setup. somebody showed up with a S&W Shield with only the 7 and 8 round magazines that came with it... fine for IDPA BUG, not so much for a 32 round stage.
im thinking mka 1919 shotgun,m and p sport ar15, charger pistol, and yugo 8mm for long distance

a 1919 will put you in Open, where you will face people with much better gear than your M&P. there's also no way you're making power factor with .22 lr
another consideration would be that there's no holster options for the Charger.
just get a Glock 34 and a JM 930 like everybody else.

>22lr division
that sounds like a lot of fun actually
poor fag ;(
