So what are you building?
>>
>>30998210
Oh the usual, going to college with full scholarship, maybe join ROTC half-way if that's possible, and build a career. Nothing special, seriously.

9mm AR. Would have preferred to do wood furniture, but there's no adjustable wood stock I can find, so I did Magpul FDR.

Waiting for my last parts, ordered from Wise Arms 8 days ago, not a peep since. I've received orders from Midway, 9mmAR, and Centerfire Systems, that I placed after the Wise Arms order.

An Ishapore 2A1.

Damn shame that parts are impossible to find. Especially since they tend to get lunped in with SMLE parts.
>>
>>30998310
>>30998290
you technically can't. It started off with a stock. You have to convert a PGO.
>>
>>30998210
just bought two EP Armory 80% poly lowers
I might slap a nodak spud upper or an m16a1 parts kit on one
>>
>>30998360
>adjustable wood
yeah, that's because it's a bad idea, anon
>>
>>30998446
this
you have to start with one of the 500 or 590 PGO cruiser shotguns and then you can put the chickenhead girp on it and the 14" barrel. I did it, its pretty neat I suppose.
>>
I wish I bought AK kits when they were cheap and avaliable

>>30998460
I don't know about current EP lowers, but their whole first polymer lot sucks donkey balls. Out of spec and doesn't honor their so called warranty. Mine does work, after fixing a whole load of issue, but I wish it was better qality and that they their customer service was actually good.

They even pulled a douche move on calguns and did a chargeback on their advertisement after people on the forum started calling out their bullshit.
>>
>>30998261
The Magazine isn't considered a forward grip so it's not aow. Most of the time you see them in the wild the folder is welded down.
>>
>>30998210
where did you get that? Everywhere online has been sold out for years
>>
>>30998548

Not OP, but I got the exact same thing from Dlask Arms. OP is probably Canadian as well.
>>

>>
>>30998470
Yeah, unfortunately it looks like that might be structurally unsound. I wonder, though, if gluing a steel sleeve insert in the center of the wood, and shaping the stock with cheek risers, would make it strong enough; basically the last half of what's in picrelated. Same old commercial tube, just a short wooden stock riding it. Be expensive as hell I bet.
>>
>>30998616
Glorious aftermarket.
>>30998395
How many parts are interchangeable between the types?
>>
>>30998583
I too bought one of these they should be in by the 19th

if only green mountain would get 9mm barrel blanks back in stock..... Gah

Also, I'm going to buy a Nobel 12ga pump for $80 tomorrow

And I'm going to chop it down to 18.5' and saw off the stock

It's gona be neat-o
>>
>>30998446

This is the power of the NFA.

I built a nice Hungarian AKMS for about $580 in April off AoA. Get 3 other friends to pitch in on the necessities or find a build party.
>>
>>30998583
Bingo.
Trigger pocket needs to be milled, hammer and trigger pin holes ned drilling, few other minor things. Would have been nice if the had included some of the auto sear as it helps hold and center the trigger pack.
Mags are pinned properly at 5 so just need to register as a rifle before starting any cutting.
>>
>>30998446
>>30998504
so the PGOs would technically be considered long-barreled pistols in the first place? or something like that?
>>
>>30998210
Is that an 80% lower? I have a buddy who did a Reweld SBR from a torch cut kit. Couldn't believe he got the damn thing back together from how shitty it looked.

G1 Fal. Belgian marked og barrel, likely used in turkey. Waiting on vice and locking shoulder rod gage. Stub is cut just not removed.

Also have 2 romy g kits, one old school clone with unit numbered stock. Second will have ace trunnion, pb fsm, skeleton stock, and ultimak rail.

3rd ak is franken sbr build. Romy uf trunnion and stock, bulgy combo gb, kvar custom 10" barrel (1/2x28 threads)

Going on 23 weeks waiting for receivers.

Also have a pps43 laying around but too lazy to fab a striker-fire fcg for it right now.

I have one of the Spanish ".308 Exploding Special" mausers and a .45ACP barrel and mag block. Bought the gun from Samco before they went under.

My plan was to build a delisle knock off on a Mauser action. I still plan to, but for now it's all in a box in the basement. I got stuck on whether to try to pay someone to remove the barrel or buy the receiver wrench and do it myself.
>>
>>30999297
>>30998695
Poor Americans.
>>30998639
We don't have to deal with that shit. A long as the barrel came that way from the factory. And OAL is over 26" your good.
>>
>>30999018
Here's the breakdown:
If it's PGO and >18" bbl it's a shotgun
If it's <18" bbl and PGO with an OAL of >26" it's a "firearm" IFF it is PGO
If it is <18" bbl with a stock or if it has ever had a stock it is a SBS
If it is <18" bbl PGO with an OAL <26" it is an AOW.

Gotta keep the killing power in check
>>
>>30999781
>If it's PGO and >18" bbl it's a shotgun
Nope. It's a "firearm" from the get go.
Transfers as "Other" on 4473.
That's how you can get a 26" OAL "firearm" and not an AOW.
>But if you conceal it, it becomes AOW.

Go read the ATF letters on Shockwave's site.
Shit is convoluted as fuck.

>Glorious aftermarket

Can you explain Anon?

I want a 14" barreled shotgun.
>>
>>30998781

Actually gonna have to register it as a Commercial Variant from what I understand. Shouldn't really make a difference.
>>
>>30998310
Those are made from the ground up like that. You cannot turn your existing shotgun into that and not cross into pound me in the ass goodbye dogge territory.

>>30998360
Nice, you go with colt or glock mags?
>>
>>30998251
>maybe join ROTC half-way if that's possible

If I'm not mistaken the latest you can start is in your sophomore year.

Generally that is true. Depending on your school and your background you can join up your junior year. I know one guy who was only in our program for a year and half before he commissioned. He didn't go to any other school's program either. Guy just worked some magic.

Worst gun in "Goldeneye".
>>
>>31003355
Cool still, why did you decide on a pot still instead of something like a reflux still?
>>
>>31003827
Actually for a game like Goldeneye the worst gun is the Cougar Magnum. Although it's unlikely to smoke anyone with a Klobb at least you can deal lethal damage with one as long as your target isn't armored.

Not OP but probably off of a canadian site called dalsk , got one myself ,
it includes a sawed lower , that is cut in such a way that it would be possible to reweld and then add a "nose" using simple materials like angle iron. anyways inorder to reweld the lower it is necessary to hold both pieces in the proper position , for this task im making this jig
