Appendix carry should work. If you want 100% concealment, get a flush mag baseplate. Or try carrying at 11:00 so the long grip lays flat across your abdomen.

You're gonna go through hella holsters if you want to be serious about CC OP. If money isn't tight G code holsters are my preference. If money is tight look on backpage/Craigslist for guys custom making kydex holsters for IWB. A lot of LLC'S are popping up trying to capitalize on the kydex craze right now, but go the extra mile and find the guy working out of his garage as a side gig and you can get them pretty cheap. But of course, make sure they are reputable.

Can someone who does appendix carry explain to me how it is done without jamming the barrel into your dick and or balls? I see some guys carrying at 12 and some at about 1 but every time i have tried it rides my junk the entire time. Never mind sitting or driving.

Carry AIWB, it's significantly easier to conceal and draw compared to IWB at 3 or 5. I carry my shield in an incog holster and my body type is similar to yours

For me the difference was part the pistol, and part the holster. I used to CC a full size jericho 941 appendix with a custom kydex, and since the pistol was longer, and since the holster rode deep into the waistband, I'd be holding my dick at gunpoint all day long. I'd have to carry at 2 o'clock because of this.

Changed to a G19 and a higher riding appendix kydex holster, and I'm right as rain. I even sat in a 2hr movie last night and it was fine the entire time.

It is a little bit like crossdraw. It doesn't feel slow or awkward to me. I like not having to clear my shirt up and across my chest, just up, you could say that's a bonus. The picture shows my holster. It is homemade but I'm sure you can find something exactly like it on the market for the Shield. The gun is a HK P2000sk and it doesn't print one bit.

Op, I'm 6'4 at 185 and carry a sig p320 carry, try a hybrid holster in the 430/500 position. Look up Minotaur holsters, recommend the infidel or the mtac. Personally I use the mtac, and the only issue is that since losing weight it doesn't fit against me too well cuz of old jeans.

Wear a fucking baggier shirt. Problem solved. I'm 6'5" 200lb and consider myself a skeltor but I cc a full size 1911 with a bladetech with loops at 3 30. I wear a size bigger in tall. So LT or XLT depending on brand. If you're going to wear such tight clothing look into pocket carry.

I carry a 1911. Slip it more into the 4 or 5 o,clock position. Adjust the holster to ride higher and press the grip into your back. Been carrying a 5' 1911 for almost a year in a $30 aliengear and the only time anyone noticed was my roommate when I bent down carelessly to open the oven

Depending on how rigid and thick the belt is you could be okay. I recommend looming into hanks belts on Amazon. Comfortable, varying thickness and widths and comfy as hell.

Perfectly safe. DA/SA gives you an extra layer of safety and a tactile feel on if the trigger is being pulled prematurely for whatever reason. I don't carry DA/SA simply because they do not have small enough guns the size of the Glock 43 and Shield.

I feel like you just got your holster, threw it on, then immediately posted about this. It took a few days to figure out a good way to wear mine. I don't wear baggy clothes, I just adjusted and readjusted and readjusted my holster and tried a bunch of different ride options before i found a good one.

This. I carry a PPS with an Aliengear holster and it basically disappears. Try wearing button up shirts or something a little looser. If you're really worried about printing, get a small .380 like an LCP and get a wallet holster.

I carry in this shirt a lot. 1911 has a big grip so when I stand up, I have to make sure I tuck my shirt down otherwise it gets stuck between the grip and my back. Otherwise it's good to go

I've actually tried several today. I could hit the bass pro with a rock from where I live so I've made a few trips and tried several holsters, adjusted, tried some different shirts and went back for another. They just haven't had any that worked. Their selection is pretty shit teir, though.

I too am an Asian skeleton. I carry my Beretta 92FS Compact in an Aliengear OWB at ~5 oclock. The gun disappears even under a tshirt. The downside is training yourself to draw from such a position and avoiding falling on your gun.

Yah, I got lucky. I ordered it from whatacountry for $500 when they had them in stock. The plastic buttpad thing was cracked but they included a reproduction one with the kit. The Colt scope was separate and acquired on gunbroker. Had to wait about 6-8 months for the NODAK receiver.

I'm 5'10" and weigh 115, my Glock 20 fits fine and is unnoticeable. I use a SERPA CQC holster made by Blackhawk, wasn't comfortable in the beginning until I wore in the paddle.

OP, I was 5'11 and 145 when I got my CHL and holster. I carry a full sized handgun, but with a good holster you can't even tell. Aliengear IWB with a decent belt worked very well. Even with a tighter fitting shirt, you still couldn't tell.
