Oddly enough. My Deagle brand Deagle is more stable when I use one hand than two. When I watch the videos (home video) of me shooting, it looks a lot more stable with one hand. No idea why. .50 AE is no slouch. Not trying to tell you which direction to go in, just throwing its name into the hat.

As much as I would like this to be true, a 500 S&W revolver stomps all over the Deagle power wise. Typical .500 Magnum loads generate 2800 ft lbs of muzzle energy from a 8 1/2" barrel. A typical .50AE load is right at 1500 ft lbs from a 6" Desert Eagle.

For comparison, .308 Winchester generates around 2700 ft lbs of energy from a 16" barrel.
