Redpill me on TM 31-210 /k/. Is it a real technical manual that was published by the United States Government or is it just an anarchist cookbook tier safety hazard masquerading as a technical manual?
Also general gunsmithing and DIY thread I guess.
>>30996494
It's fake, in fact all technical manuals are fake, no one in the military knows how to read
Legit kill yourself retard
It's pretty legit. Although the version I have is a bit outdated, and some of the materials it lists to make explosives are a little harder to come by than they were in the 60's.

I hope you paid cash for that OP.

Don't be such assholes about it, I've been told by numerous people (even here on /k/) that it's a counterfeit technical manual. Just wanted to clarify.

I've never actually seen a physical copy of it not being distributed by a shady looking publisher. I'm not hopeless retarded and realize that it would be copyright free if it were a legitimate technical manual.

>Is it a real technical manual that was published by the United States Government
cant say for sure
>or is it just an anarchist cookbook tier safety hazard
all the info from the manual that ive cared to research is legit
gelled fuels for example
and formulas for igniters and mechanical triggers for explosives

got a copy from milsurp shop
>>30996916
Hmmm.. A milsurp in my town sells them.
I bought one from a milsurp store.
It seems pretty legit and would most likely be helpful in SHTF but a good chunk of the recipes call for blasting caps to set off and civvies can't buy those
>>30996494
as far as diy goes
been experimenting using howards mineral oil for stock scratches, instead of linseed oil
>can of linseed is from graddads old workshop
>no production date on can, but copyright date is 1950
also applied to the portions of stock which were uncoated from the factory, like underneath the cheek riser and the gooves around the stock-bolt hole

W-will the feds be watching me if I get all these DIY weapon shits on my computer or in PDF files?

Is it worth purchasing a physical copy of a book, or should I just go ahead and get a free PDF online?
>>31000271
go ahead and buy a copy man
books in general are just good investments
and theyre like 5 bucks
>>31000505
All right. I just like reading but don't know whether or not I should just buy a copy or read it for free online.
Got to save that money...

Yes, they will masturbate over you daily.
>>31000516
Some of the scans of the older field manuals suck hot cock. I've yet to find a decent quality scan of FM 5-31 boobytraps. Good thing I have a physical copy
