Have these faggots shipped a single unit yet?
Also do we know if the finish is going to this shitty/mismatched on the final production version ?

I'm still waiting on that semi-auto 9mm MP-40 they teased at shot show a few years back.

>semi-auto 9mm MP-40
you don't want it
>literally just the .22lr MP40
>receiver is two halves folded and bolted together
>rotating bolt

I thought that was a product imported by ATI and made by German Sport Guns(eww) in Germany

>German Sport Guns
guess who made the .22lr mp40
>>30993181
isnt that turkshit
>>30993236
Yeah, i know. Someone else in this thread seemed to imply that HMG was making them.
>>30993240
oh, didn't see that you quoted the other guy
>>30993162
I am going to wait a few months (maybe even a year) for the bugs to get worked out and their manufacturing process to improve and streamline a bit. They will probably cut the cost by a few hundred by then too.
It seems like HMG is a small time shop trying to act like the the big boys and that makes me extremely leery. Especially with the unexplained or lame excuses in delays on both of their firearm products so far.

Oh, I had assumed the same company was doing these STG/MP-44s. My bad guys.
>>30993162
No, they have been "apologizing" for the last two months about how they are delayed because they didn't expect so many preorders, and took "too many in" and don't want to rush the product...
I will only get one if they make it in 6.5
I was disappointed that they spent the year-long buildup to the releas announcement billing it as a *clone* and only revealed that they had completely reworked the barrel trunnion.
I get it. The original was over engineered. It saves them a lot of money to make it the new way.
I'm just put off that they didn't actually acknowledge it until so far down the line.

I am still waiting on the 7.62x39 version.
Until then I think I am good, not really in the mood to drop 600$ on a 9lb 22.
>>30994806
I think they had to do it to make it compatible with all the different calibers they had make it work with.
>>30993290
There is a company, EL BE Tac, that annouced at shotshow 2015 they were going to import the MP44 and MP38 made by Sport Systeme Dittrich.

It comes in 7.62 x 39, are you literally retarded?
