Can /k/ help me identifying this walther. I tried to look it up but came up nada. the thing is, there is no safety lever and the trigger guard can't be pulled down. I haven't had a chance to clean it yet due to being afraid to mess it up more.

OP, I'm searching for this pistol. I have never seen a Walther like this before in my life, can you show me the barrel, the other side of the gun, and see if there are any serial numbers.
>>30975521
op here, I'm having trouble to upload pic but I'll keep trying. the serial number is rusted so maybe later when I can clean it.
>>30975520
I think it's a knockoff since I there is no mechanism onn the trigger guard for disassembly

Well, I don't know of any manufacturer on the planet that has ever used phillips head screws on firearms in any serious capacity, and I'm pretty damn sure Walther wouldn't. The Walther banner also doesn't look right, if it even is a Walther banner in the first place.
I also don't know of any Walther pistols of that size that had two grip screws.
Looks just about the right size for a PPK, but without something else to use as reference, it's difficult to say. Grip angle doesn't quite look right either.

here's the other side

Its rough enough looking I'd probably not want to fire it. Sell for scrap.

Alright, OP. I dug up a bunch of my gun books and scowered the web for Walther pistols. From what I can tell, it matches no known Walther design. Also, I can find no pistol with this exact design. Due to this, and the fact of the very crude checkering on the grips along with Philips head screws and very poorly made cuts, I can safely assume that it is a Khyber Pass copy. The Khyber pass has some telltale marks that set it apart from other guns. These are:
>Philips head screws
>Crude wood working
>Crude slide serrations
>Copying roll marks of known companies
tl:dr, Fake walther piece of shit, but interesting shit nonetheless. Also some people collect this type of stuff.

Yep, that's a khyber pass pistol alright. I would keep it because it's pretty interesting or find someone who collects Khyber Pass stuff.
Looks like a starter pistol. Is the barrel grooved?

Thanks anon, figured it was a knockoff. Now I can search how to dismantle and clean it. Maybe it is still safe enough to use in an emergency.

>in an emergency
Erm..... I would never fire it if I were you. Sometimes the Khyber Pass can make good stuff, but this is a but too low of a quality to shoot. Ever. Also they aren't very good at rifiling, so you won't hit shit.
>>30975748
you're right. Why did I think of that
