Based on "his" one design that he claimed was 100% original despite having a cloned Remington safety, rotating Garand bolt and similar gas system, and of course Hugo Schmeisser giving him the idea to put it all together, hell even Kalashnikov credited Schmeisser (Hugo or his brother or dad or whoever) with figuring out the stamped metal fabrication.
