Are magpul slings worth the price?
>>30972091
maybe
No.
Go buy some buckles and one inch webbing at the hardware store, make yourself a sling for $10.
>>30972091
They're good, but extremely overpriced

>my only rifle is Soviet surplus

blue force gear
>>30972091
I have 2, I like them a lot more than the shitty 3 points in the military.
>>30972240
Same guy but holy shit $59.99?!
I got mine for $40 online
>>30972203
They're like ~$50 dude...
Blue force gear slings are better
>>30972266
$50 for a nylon strap and plastic buckles is extremely overpriced
>>30972334
I guess a $10 nugget sling is more up your alley.
>>30972334
>you are now aware people pay hundreds for bits of machined metal
Pretty heavy and bulky. Much prefer my Blue Force Vickers sling. A cheap USGI works decently. Hate the Proctor Sling.
>>30972344
Same thing and just as good as any "tactical" shit your gearfags overpay for.
What is a good tactical sling that isn't going to cost more than $30?
>>30972365
>It's another "I'm poor, but anything I can't afford is automatically overpriced" episode
>>30972091
I use Rothco everything to trigger gearqueers
>>30972452
A fool is easily separated from his money
I have one, it is nice but it is over priced. I made a sling for my 10/22 out of 550 cord and 5$ sling swivels so maybe 15$ so... whatever.
>>30972364
Why don't you like the proctor sling?
>>30972091
yes.
>>30972533
I should note I don't regret buying my mafpul one. I use it on a few rifles.
>>30972091
It doesn't matter.
If you like it buy it.
If you like it and can't afford it save for it.
If you don't like it then don't buy it at any price.
None of my slings costs more than 5 dollars and they are all superior to some jewish trick sling that weighs 3x as much and has more functions than my dick.

t. someone who only has a Nugget
>ITT; teenagers who can't even begin to discuss the niceties of a one-point vs. two-point setup nor comprehend the various ways a sling can function try to assure themselves that their hemp-rope-tied-though-stock setups are perfectly satisfactory and are without reproach
>>30972596
Care to explain the pros vs cons of 1 and 2 point slings? I'm genuinely curious
>>30972596
t. mall ninja
>>30972365
This. I brought some cargo strap home from work that I'm going to attach sling hardware to.
If you have anything resembling disposable income; yes.

This thread is a fucking riot, 10/10.
