I'm ultra picky and have to have form and function.

I was going to get a SPAS a couple of years ago because of T2 and JP, but when I learned they were garbage and broke I held off.

Closest thing otherwise is I didn't give revolvers a chance because I thought they looked like ass until I watched a few hickock videos and then saw psycho pass. First time I saw a modern looking sleek revolver that was buyable(not the 412, or webleys that break and fire dead ammo). Gave em a chance, bought an sP101 as my first handgun, and then I improved my tastes. Glad I did because it's a great gun, and I love revolvers now.

I mean, I do notice a lot of the guns I own featured in movies, games and weebshit, but in those cases I bought them for other reasons, ie because they were good guns, and were cool.

If you ever plan on buying one, and it's a third series, you can save on mags by buying Beretta Neos mags. It's a difference of paying $25 instead of $60-$100.

You have to make a few "modifications" though.

First you have to grind down the thumb-stud attached to the follower so it can insert into the mag well. This should be all you need to do for a second series, continue if you have a third series.

Then you need to cut a portion of the plasticy material floorplate so the latch can close on it, then use a soldering iron on that piece you cut off, and attach it to the front of the floorplate to stop it from overextending into the mag well.

You should be good to go from here, but you can play around with bending the feed lips and filing the follower for better reliability.

I've also machined a ambi safety, but I haven't brought myself to cut up the right grip yet, especially considering they're a left handed pair, and I wouldn't know where to get a replacement. I'm also curious if there's a IPSC speed holster that fits a match target woodsman.

Bought a Tavor recently because they really caught my eye after shooting one. Started doing research and realized it was the same "TAR-21" from Modern Warfare 2.

I'm going to make at least one (or several) of the guns used in the Umineko no Naku Koro Ni visual novel. Unfortunately, despite what little is said about them in the game, the guns the Ushiromiya family uses do not actually exist. Some will try to tell you that it's a sawed-off Winchester 84', modified with an enlarged lever loop make it look more like the Mare's Leg, but that simply is not true. As a matter of fact, the lever loop and stock both resemble the Mare's Leg perfectly, so you'd basically need to rip off the entire lower half of the Winchester 84', saw off most of the barrel, and then completely rip off the lower part of the gun and replace it with an authentic Mare's Leg lower in order to replicate the gun perfectly.

Tl;dr Kinzo was sure a Western superfan alright, because this is a hybrid gun.

They shoot amazing, and the're very well balanced compared to my X95 (which is still nice, rear-heavy actually feels pretty good). If I had to complain about something, it'd be the lack of final-round BHO and the little step for your middle finger below the trigger guard, which can bite into your finger if you don't hold it right. Disassembly is weird, the parts are weird, the charging handle is weird, but in this case weird is extremely fucking cool.
