I have a related question, so I'll put it here. I was just cleaning my Norinco SKS, and I found a sizable enough chip inside the barrel that I can feel it when shoving the cleaning rod in. I can see it's located just past the handguard, and is about a centimeter wide, and probably half that deep. Can that be fixed, or is my shit also fucked?

I have an almost identical looking chip on my 30-30, ive shot atleast 100rounds and have never had an issue with it, still accurate and no explosions, but I would still have it checked out by a gunsmith if I were you
