I'm probably going to switch the buffer tube out for the magpul fixed stock.

I don't mind the grip. That's the last thing on my list.

The receivers aren't mismatched, they are both DPMS.

I wanted to make sure it goes bang before I decide on optics. I'm either going with the LMT fixed rear and an aimpoint or some sort of flip up rear with a 1-4 or 1-6 scope.

The handguard is comfy. I like it. But I should probably take the rail segment off.

I'm not totally sure where I'm going with the rifle yet, but it finally went bang last week. So now I won't feel bad about buying glass and stuff.

I can't really tell. The rear sight sucks major ass. It moves around even though it's on as tight as it will go. From sitting, unsupported I got all 20 rounds on paper at 100 yards but they weren't in any cohesive grouping. I'll tighten that up with a proper rear sight.

However, I can't find a single image of such a FAL or its designation during the trials.

If the para stock is actually made to FN spec, then it should have two angular wedges that lock the stock (rhyming is fun) into place very tightly. If it's a shitty one made by Falcon or some other fuckers that cut corners by using a single rounded wedge, then it'll have some play.
